3rd in the AFC in scoring defense is not bad.

Also, not sure where 26th in total defense comes from.
They were 13th in the NFL.

I agree that was not a great defense.
But that was the best defense New England has had since they last won the SB.

Not totally dominant though.

They picked up arguably the best CB in the game.

And once Wilfork is done, that defense will take a nose dive.
