I never liked that saying, because think how easy it would be to take chess pieces, if all you had to do was jump them diagonally and you could jump multiple times in one round. He'd be getting killed.

I almost posted his release here a day or two ago. He just got a DUI which was the reason for his release. He hasnt done anything this year, but he went on an 8 game tear last season where he was the best statistical wr on a loaded Cardnals wr group. He was a 1st round pick in 2012.... I hoped Dallas would surprise by taking a flyer on him even though he may not be a RKG (dont know anything personal outside the DUI). I hope the Patriots didnt just get a new superstar for nothing....wouldve been a nice deep threat

I will admit, when I heard Michael Floyd had been released it caught my attention. Interesting player, talented but underperforming, a possible upgrade over Butler, Lucky and Williams though??? But I figured Floyd doesn't fit the "right kind of guy" thing...and that Dallas would be crushed by the media if they signed him....bringing on another criminal so to speak!!! Add in the possible suspension by the NFL for his actions ...

Then all of a sudden the Pats swoop in and grab the guy and nothing said...no media blasting them, no looming suspension...nothing!!! LOL, funny how twisted this league is..... maybe our two-way radio didn't work to grab him when we had a chance!!
