Patriots considering releasing Randy Moss?

Could Patriots wide out Randy Moss possibly not even make the teams roster? It may sound crazy, but sources are saying that the Pats are actually considering releasing Moss, even before he plays a down in New England.

Gee. what sources? if they're in New England, they're on a parallel universe, because far as i know, even the most far out talk radio hasn't speculated on this..

and his prime was years ago...he's no better than average now, and with all his other baggage that makes him mediocre in my books

but tis something many on here dont grasp the concept of..."past their prime"

and we still see post after post about going after washed up has beens

Also, Moss just does not come across as a team player even when he was good! "I play when I want to play..."

Agreed - we do NOT need Randy Moss.

I was surprised to see Moss do as well as he did in fantasy leagues this year. Who knows, maybe he'll prove me wrong, but at this point in his career, the risk is not worth the reward all things considered (injury, age etc).
