wonder if they think pioli will trade for him.
My guess is that the Chiefs stick with Croyle for at least one more year. He showed some good things last year.

I didn't see a single chiefs game last season so i wouldn't know about Croyle. but I don't think the pats tagged him with intentions to keep him.

I don't either which is why it would be nice to see them have to cope with his $14 million cap hit.

No surprise, at all, here. I'm with you on that though it would be absolutely hilarious if no other team would be willing to give up the 1 and 3 (or is it 2 #1's for a franchised player?) to take him off their hands and they had to pay him 14 million this year and Brady another 14 or 15 million as well.

I wonder, if it came down to it, if they'd make a decision to simply cut one of them if no one would make a move for Cassel. This could be very interesting because as I recall their cap hits would be 14 and 15 million respectively and it would be pretty hard to keep everyone happy, and signed, if your two QBs are eating up nearly 30 million of your cap space.

Croyle played in about 4 quarters last year. He got hurt in both games he played in. I think it's Thigpen you're thinking of who showed some good things. He's very raw, as he showed some very bad things as well.

My bad, you're right. I don't know anything about him, other than he was a decent fantasy pickup ;).

In New England Pioli hardly ever traded picks away for vets. In fact, other than Randy Moss, I can't think of a player where they did that - can anyone else? I would be surprised if he goes after Cassel.

I think they will keep close tabs on Brady, and if he looks to be ok, they will trade him. Probably won't be for 2 number ones, but they'll get something for him. Probably one #1.

Either way, I still think the Pats are in the drivers seat.
