You should always always go for it inside the opponents' 10 on 4th and 2 (barring the obvious end-of-game situations). Teams don't do it, but it doesn't make it right to kick the FG there. And in this game, when you're a huge underdog, it's an absolute no-brainer.
Very interesting if the Pats were eliminated.
could be worse I guess. could be aMan in a seriousness, how bad would it suck to have been a fan of the Houston Oilers/Texans all these years
the patriots are just playing around right now. they will wake up and blow out the Texans by the end of the third quarter. We may have a game.
Yea but then I'd have to depend on Andy Reid beating the Steelers.Very interesting if the Pats were eliminated.
They still gonna win by 20Very interesting if the Pats were eliminated.
Make no mistake I'm pulling for the Texans to win, just didn't hold out much hope.Okay back on the Houston bandwagon. lol
That's exactly the point. When you have as poor an offfense as they do, how many chances are you going to get down there? You can't let those precious opportunities get away with only 3 against a potent offense like the Patriots. Sure, you might not make it, but you have to adopt high-risk high-reward strategies if you don't just want to get slowly ground down. "Keeping the game close" is not a virtue. When you have a QB as inept as Brock Osweiler you don't put it on him to get those 2 yards unless you have no other choice. I'm sure they're happy they took the 3 there.
