Cheaters to the core both.

BSPN is covering every at bat now for A-Fraud as if him hitting #661 means anything significant.

So, are the Pat 4 Cheater SB wins more tainted or are A-Roid's HR #'s more tainted?

Pats.

A-Rod played a large part of his career in a league where steroids were commonplace.

The Patriots have gone above and beyond the norm to find ways to cheat the system. I say this independently of the whole "deflategate" thing as, per the comments of more than a few NFL QBs, it sounds like a lot of them have preferences for ball inflation that may take them outside of the rules.

Pats winning by 5TDs with the balls underinflated.....whatever.
Since they were found most likely guilty, they should have so e for of punishment though.

this would be a lot funnier if posted on a pats board, but to be honest, it's A rod by a country mile

There likely isn't a bigger fraud in the history of all professional sports than A rod

I already started this thread but ok

AROD has natural freakish talent.
He was going to hit a ton of homeruns.

The patriots, without their "unfair advantages" they could lose all 6 superbowls. Those tight 3 point wins. Clearly the result of knowing the plays of opposing teams.

Even if AROD hit 100 homeruns because of steroids he still hit over 500 on natural talent.

Pats and it ain't even close.

So the Skankees have had the biggest fraud in the history of pro sports and the most overrated player (Jeter) in the history of pro sports . . . .

You wont get an argument from me on that.

The Pats.

A Rod was doing something that tons of other guys in the league were doing - he was just one of the only ones worth pursuing because of his production. The Pats are trying to game the system against 31 other teams. A Rod is one of the great players that has ever put on a baseball uniform.

That said, I don't think either are a big deal.

A-Rod's accomplishments are few and far between. 1 World Series and a perennial choker in the postseason (I'm a born and bred Yankees fan). The home runs are another thing, but that record has already been tarnished by Barry Bonds and Mark McGwire. In fact, A-Rod was playing in the same league that had Brady freaking Anderson getting 52 home runs in a year and making Bret Boone look like the next Mickey Mantle.

The Pats got a clear cut, enormous advantage with SpyGate which lasted up until 2007 and then turned it over to illegally deflating footballs from 2007 to 2015.

I can't stand the Red Sox, but it didn't bother me that Ortiz and Ramirez were eventually copping to taking PED's. I just thought it was more ridiculous that Red Sox fans really believed the Mitchell Report was unbiased and that they really thought that none of the Red Sox were taking PED's. It more bothered me that MLB allowed and enabled for rampant PED use to happen.

theyve been cheating...in fact, cheated in their substitutions during the ravens game that they would have lost otherwise

I did hear that he may have been using since young age... Before mlb.

Still. I stand by my statement. Natural freak that juiced but was going to hit mega hone runs either way.

I don't like him. I don't really care.

Let's be careful about throwing stones in glass houses. As an Orioles fan does the name Rafael Palmeiro ring a bell?

Did the report conclude they had been deflating footballs since 2007?

I dont know that the confirmation of any report is needed to conclude that with a fair level of certainty. Especially when one takes into account that the Cheaters were warned back in 2004 about "balls" after a Jets game. The pattern of this arrogant organization over the years is one that will do whatever it can even if that includes cheating to gain an advantage.

People concluded with a "fair" level of certainty before they ever knew anything about the Jets game. If their cheating with footballs go back to 2004, I guess all the discussion about how great they've been since the rule change is overstated. I don't even know how people can buy into the idea that they absolutely had deflated balls since 2007. They benefitted from deflated balls (which are supposedly easily distinguishable by touch) for the better part of a decade and yet nobody said a thing? Okay.

So if they received a warning back in 2004 after a Jets game, that doesnt mean anything? And it doesnt "add" to the track record or reasonable perspective of cheating or doing questionable things? We're not talking about proving a criminal case in a court of law here.

Brady is a top 3 QB of all time and nothing is tainted with his legacy or his SB's.

PSIgate is dumb.
