Pats Used Injured Reserve players in Practice?

I've gotten lazy. If it aint posted at CBZ, I assume that it never happens...

:lmao2:

Will google for the articles. I hope they release the names of the players he turned over. I am interested in that more than anything....
Yes, that's extremely lazy, but I'll let it slide. Here's the story on ESPN.com. The original article I saw was in the NY Times...and I think there was a DMN article, too.

and you've brought nothing but your usual pompous chest thumping. here I'm discussing football. all you do is come in with your usual axe-to-grind-because-you've-been-owned-in-thread-after-thread garbage.

There you go again, thinking you can just spout off whatever and people will just believe it.

Please, link one thread where you've ever shown a semblance of owning me, or anyone else for that matter. You completely overrate your abilities.

Also, show me where any football is being discussed. All I see are wildly unfounded accusations being tossed around by you with absolutely nothing to substantiate them. That's about par for the course for you, though, isn't it?

I have never seen him own anyone ..... have seen him run away from quite a few though.

Your faith the the Pats are the only wrongdoers is a bigger stretch
I never said nor remotely implied that.

That is where I don't buy your assumption. Mangini blew the whistle. He had an axe to grind and an advantage to gain from doing so -- more importantly he was totally willing to burn bridges to do so.

Your "well someone would have told" story is not believable to me at all.
Mangini wasn't the only one to complain about the Patriots cheating. Belichick and the Patriots were warned before the Jets game and did it anyway.

Hostile told me Goodell posts on this board but he wouldn't tell me who. I have figured out that Goodell posts under 2 different names. Goodell posts under the names "abersonc" and "Nors".

Too many people here obsessing about Belichek and the Pats.

Rather, look to your own team and see what deficiencies there are, and beat the Pats in the Super Bowl. But, no, that would be too much to refocus our attention on our own team.

On the first page, we have twenty Cowboys related threads, one threat about the Patriots, and a few other threads. The posters on this board are far from obsessed with the Patriots. If you can't deal with the one thread about the Patriots, you could certainly just avoid it.

Good-smells' goal is to stop the petty crooks, and sweep the white collar crimes under the rug.

Don't be so literal, skinny.
Here means at the Zone.
And is sometimes does not mean is.

Again, you worry worts keep on worrying about Belichek and the Pats and before you know, it is the last game of the season and your obsession has cost you enjoying the Cowboys season.

If the pats actually did this what kind of punishment could they face? if it's true and I suspect it is then I hope they not only lose their first round pick next year but Bill-a-cheat is suspended for a full season...

Goodell already said that if the NFL finds the Patriots guilty of this, he'll just count it as part of the punishment they already got for Spygate.

I would caution people to think about whether other teams might survive this scrutiny.

I certainly expect that 'check learned this stuff somewhere. And that suggests some of this sort of stuff may have been going on in Dallas as well.....

abersonc;2092172 said:
And again as I noted, Beli likely learned techniques like this from his mentor who, you may know was our coach. The articles specifically said that Ross Tucker never saw use of IR player in Dallas. Of course, Tucker played in Dallas BEFORE BP was here.

Maybe if you actually read posts you wouldn't be imagining that you were bursting any bubbles.

abersonc;2092235 said:
And had Mangini not spilled you'd have never heard anything about Belicheck either. I expect that 99.9% of coaches who knew something like that would keep it under their hats. When Mangini gets fired, he's going to have a hell of a time finding work because of this. So the absence of cheating claims could very well come from the "code" these guys have.

abersonc;2092323 said:
I was talking about among BP's coaching tree.

I think frankly you are naive if you don't think that close scrutiny of any team is going to reveal similar issues.

Your failure to bring anything to the table in any thread is equally "nifty"

These are some remarkable leaps of logic you're engaging in here. In essence, you seem convinced that since the Patriots engaged in some questionable activity, their coach must have learned it from our previous head coach, and that by insinuation, the Cowboys are probably guilty of some similar sort of transgression.

For all your talk of other posters bringing something to the table, all you've brought is a conspiracy theory. Of course, opinions are free, and you've certainly floated a few from time to time, but this may be the most spectacular yet.

Remind us again what NFL teams you've worked for. Or was it the league office?

Substantiate what exactly? I suggested that ANY team that was under similar scrutiny would have some warts show. You don't believe that? You really don't believe that? You seriously don't believe that? We have reports every year of violations of rules regarding tampering and contact during minicamps that were supposed to be non-contact. Yes, but according to you NO ONE breaks the rules but the Pats.

Blind is par for course for you there Kily.

And please show me where I made an unfounded accusation -- I suggested simply that other teams do the same garbage. I'm sorry that bunched your panties but if you didn't insist on wearing ones designed for ladies you wouldn't have these problems.

No, I'm convinced that if we look closer that other teams will likely have done similar things. And I suggested that some of these techniques could have originated with Parcells. But hey, if you want to be convinced that the Pats are the only team engaging in this crap then go right ahead. I understand that simple people like yourself need simple answers to latch on to.

This is what happens when your initial argument makes no sense.

funny how you ignore the other posters' trash talk.

son, if you are too immature to leave it in the political zone then maybe you shouldn't post there.

How about folks dial down the testosterone in this thread...It's getting to close to the borderline
