nope .. that's what the Zeke haters want to sink their Barbeque teeth into ....some here want to keep keep the crusade that zeke is a effortless player.

. sunny side Cajun weather does not sap your burst and agility. like a vampire to hot sunlight ..

it started after 2017, when Garrett and the late RB coach Gary Brown, decided to place even far more offensive burden on Zeke,...bulked him up
and flat pounded him down - the dude did not even get backup RB relief as Rod Smith was so useless, the Cowboys could not even afford to keep Zeke
off the field.

Even zeke had a comment that " he was so sore to death " ..rushing,.. catching out of backfield, .. blitz blocking ..
.. this was the one time he could not tap his head to come out for a breathe relief.
I don't hate Zeke as a person. I hate Zeke's performance.

Zeke is the highest paid runningback in the NFL. So what if they overused him. If he can't handle the heat...why did he sign that big, fat contract?

It's time to move on from Zeke, he's WASHED. Why does this stupid owner love hanging on to players too long????
Uh, because there are implications to releasing him. Big difference between the 11m dead cap hit this season and the 6m next year. Guessing if this report is correct they’re going with a number that forces his hand, so there’s less backlash from the faction of the fan base that wants to hold on to him. Harder for the media to play to that faction if he refused to take a pay cut with his production!

Because as a 2 time NFL rushing champion, he "Earned' that big fat contract, ... he proved his market value and he wasn't gonna chance out a major injury
botching that contract opportunity.

the ' so what " comments all clues the anti- Zeke hate. :(

Poor Zeke he deserved a better Cowboy ending.................
He deserved to still be able to turn the corner or break off an occasional 20 yard run. However, we have a fullback being paid like he is all pro.

Cut him and send him packing.

Zeke is entering his 8th season and been on the decline for a few years. Well past the shelf life.

Because he sells jerseys and fans become attached to the stars. Most casual fans aren’t aware how much players salaries are or care. They just tune in on Sundays to watch the game .
Not getting on you but the same can be said for other camp. They read volumes, know all of the local talking heads on a first name basis, Some even have podcast, have access to all 22

and still don't know crap. They just spend more money and time on a hobby.

Zeke should be halfway through a Hall of Fame career.
It boggles my mind just how fast he lost it.
Me too. At 23, and he lost it. That makes no sense to me. I'm thinking he just let himself go. A lot of those backs from years ago weren't set for life with just the rookie contract. He was.

Barely worth league minimum. Just will waste a roster spot that they could easily fill with someone better/younger. Progress stopper.

The reason that was done is because jg and km do not know how to manage the run game.
Not only did they force zeke to sub himself, they advertised pollard and his plays, which are generally different. This lets the defense sub as well.

Bad for both players.

Better recently, but for awhile it was maddening. Dont blame zeke for it.
I didn’t know that. Never heard of that till now……thought he was utilizing load management when he would wave to the sideline that he needed to be spelled after a run

The coaches are supposed to manage it.
