I feel this depends greatly on what Dan Quinn wants to do. He has the defense performing at an extremely high level and it should not be messed with. Will he want to stick around and be content with being a DC or will he bolt for a HC position. If we insist on keeping Kellen Moore as OC I say replace MM with Quinn and it doesn’t change much. Kellen had the top ranked offense last year yet seems to wilt against good teams. Is this Dak’s fault or Kellen’s? Your guess is as good as mine.
I would trust Payton’s offense over a guy who shows promise, but is still learning on the job. Can we get Payton’s offense and Quinn’s defense? That would be the ideal situation, but also the most unlikely.
