I have had to really work on watching my mouth around our daughter.

Every year I have the same new year's resolution...to limit how much I cuss.

Depends on the day of the week and the people I'm around.

I've always thought a well-placed curse word would get my feelings across more times than not.

The only time it bothers me is when kids are around.

It depends on how someone is cussing to emphasize a particular situation. If someone is cussing just to cuss, it's just stupid in my opinion.

I don';t cuss in public but I do under my breath if something really pisses me off. Something that always has bothered me tho are kids, teenagers congregating in a public space and cussing in front of adults, kids, just because they think it is cool with no respect to their surroundings. I have had my kids with me when kids were just cussing like sailors and me tell them to watch their mouth. I think it is totally disrespectful to do it as just wish I had a bar of soap to shove down their throat. My mother did it to me when I was about 5 for saying the S word and I don't think I used it again until I was 30.

I have situations where I cuss to much. I've been trying to cut it down more and more. Sometimes I do really well with that and others i don't do so well.

Colorful cursing (throwing in a few as adjectives) is one thing.

General cursing in frustration or anger is another.

Cursing at someone is yet another.


To me, the first is no problem as long as kids aren't around.

The second can be unpleasant, not because of the words, but because frustrated, angry people usually aren't much fun to be around.

I strongly dislike the third one.

I don't necessarily have to be around the fellas to let it fly..

It's pretty much open season except for when I'm around my parents, elders, my younger sisters, even tho they're getting older, my young nieces, and nephews, etc.

Everybody else... well, it's whatever.

I always find it cute when my secretary is going to and then holds herself back in front of me, I say go ahead, it is ok. Lord knows with what I have said in front of her including the word women hate more than any other (and I did apologize for that but she didn't even care), she can say anything she wants and it won't offend me.

I cuss like crazy. It takes every fiber of my being to not do so when I'm in the office.

I'm certainly no angel, and have been known to cuss now & then.

I just don't care to spend much time around people whos vocabulary consist five or six, four letter words. And the word "mother" seems to trigger all of them.

Years ago, my grandfather once told that cussing was a crutch for conversational cripples, and ever since that day I've done my best to limit my need to cuss.

For those of you keeping track at home, this is the billionth time Dudley Do-Wrong has reminded us that he has a secretary--as outrageous and unlikely as that is. Nobody rewards mediocrity quite like the Canucks.
