I had to preface that with "per Dez" so y'all wouldn't roll your eyes before opening the thread...lol

It's no secret. I have had a lil man crush on Bease since day one. It's nice to see Dez recognize real too. ;-)

OXNARD, Calif. – Earlier this offseason, the Cowboys made it clear they were going to try different ways to move Dez Bryant around in the formations. One of those moves involved him sliding inside to the slot.

But even more telling than trying to get the team’s best receiver in different matchups was how they handled one Cole Beasley in that scenario. See, Beasley’s best spot for his size and skill combination has always been the slot. And for the most part, that’s where he’ll be the majority of the time this year.

I'm seriously thinking about taking a flier on Beasley in all of my PPR Fantasy leagues in the late rounds.

He could be a ppr machine if he is in fact going to be our #3 receiver.

I think rare talent is fair considering his frame. How many guys that size have ever been productive in the NFL as a receiver?

Wes Welker, Steve Smith although he's bigger now, Darren Sproles, Dexter McCluster, DeSean Jackson, Tavon Austin (early still), Danny Amendola, and Lance Moore now. The Smurfs were excellent. Steve Largent was a little taller and 10 lbs heavier. Gary Clark. Alworth was 6 ft but only 180. Tommy McDonald was a great WR. Santana Moss. Randal El.

Doubt Dez is blowing , every team needs a chain mover and slippery endzone reciever

Beasley earned his playing time through performance, and that's what I like to see. Hopefully we can keep him and Harris here.

Whenever Beasley made a play last year, it always got me excited and pumped. More so than any other player on the Cowboys. Not sure what it is exactly, but I'm rooting hard for him. I think it's because he always seems to get open and get first downs whenever he's targeted. I'm not sure if this is the case (don't have his stats handy), but it sure feels like it.

I don't like the description of fragile around Dunbar. He brings some performance to the table. No reason he shouldn't excel with his speed and natural instincts.

Cole Beasley will be the Cowboys' version of a waterbug on still water once he gets he feet wet in 2014. Danger, opposing DBs!

No chance. Not enough balls for that to happen

A lot of those guys were much stockier than Beasley. He's short and frail.

Tommy MacDonald was never bigger than Beasley is now. Jackson isn't bigger. Gary Clark. Wes Welker was very slightly bigger when coming out and Amendola about the same. And you can't go by 'official' heights and weights either. McCluster is slightly taller but just as thin.

It's the "Injury Bug" colored glasses...Dallas has been so beat up... that a moment of slience has been demonstrated by my-self many times before i log on the forum fearing the initial.."Ok who is it today" type injury.

I'm telling you its just crazy....it's kind of like "Shell Shock" and has been deemed " Cowboyinjurieglasshammyfragilidos"

this is real my friends....lol
