Peppers has Dallas on his "wishlist" because to many players, Jerry is Santa Clause.

We arnt trading for Julius Peppers people. There's no way you can justify having 150-200 million dollars tied up in two OLB's, and thats about what the price tag would be.

What if there is no more salary cap after this year???

Who cares if we spend $20 million or $200 million on OLBs, if there is no more cap it really doesnt matter.

My main concern is what do you do with Spencer if you trade for Peppers? Ware and Peppers would be bookend OLBs for the next 5-6 years, so that means Spencer would be a long term backup.

Or more accurately, Spencer will be a backup until his contract expires and he leaves via free agency.

I just hate blowing first rounders on players that are never going to start. If your first rounders are not starting by year 3, usually it means they are a bust. I think it is safe to say Barbie is a bust and Spencer is getting close if he spends another year on the bench.
