If you give Zeke a carry on 1st and 10, it will turn into 2nd and 8.

Zeke averaged 3.8 for us the previous year, while Pollard was getting 5.2. Of course, Pollard wasn't much of an improvement over that as a starter last year, so the bar wasn't set real high.
