6 years is a concession on Elliott's part. His team likely wanted four at most so he could be a free agent again at 30. Most RBs are done by then but it isn't unheard of to be pretty productive as an every down back at 30 or 31 like Peterson or Emmitt.

Interested to see the guaranteed money. I suspect he's got about 20 in SB and a guaranteed salaries from 19-22.
