Mickey is talking Rat starting the season on PUP or recall IR which means he won't play the first 6-10 weeks.

This guy has not played a down of football in nearly a year and got into a public spat with the owner last year about not playing through injuries. Now, an entire offseason goes by, and he still cant be counted on to play Game 1 against the hated Giants? Man, if there was a way we could have been sure to trade up high enough in round 2 to have gotten Frederick, Sharif Floyd would look good at pick #18 right now...

Is Ratliff on the PUP right now? I thought he was/still is. I'm thinking he will remain on the PUP for the first month of he season, maybe even the full 6 weeks. I doubt if he sees much playing time this year. And it would not surprise me to see Ratliff get injured again after coming off hte PUP and going on IR. And hopefully, this will be his last year as a Cowboy.

The ONLY reason he is still a Cowboy right now is because of that stupid contract extension Jerry Jones mistakenly gave him. Waste of money.

If Ratliff can't play for the first half of the season, I won't be too upset. I'd like to see what he can do in the new scheme, but Hayden and Hatcher are solid so far in the middle.

Just about everyone won't believe Ratliff is ready to play until when we see him on the field.

In my mind, Ratliff is no longer a member of the team until he steps on that field.

He no longer exists to me until then.

It's too frustrating to think otherwise.

They aren't going to admit he's playing even if he is, that would only help the NYG.

Last year Rat sat out of most of training camp and they hyped his return for week 1 and he barely played or made an impact....

I'm really tired of Rat and what he's turned into. I personally believe he is the final guy on the roster that needs to go to complete the bad attitude don't care football players. That's plagued this team for a few years now. Look at the rest of the guys outside of Livings (rumor is he doesn't really care) these 2 guys just don't really care. We haven't heard much about Rats recovery or what type of stuff he is doing to get healthy like other guys. He's a good football player but from his actions over the last year he just doesn't care and has a bad attitude. Livings doesn't give a crap either it's obvious his body language sucks and he's always injured. I dunno just my opinion and could be totally wrong. Yes without Rat we would be missing a good football player but I want guys like him and livings off this team as I think they are toxic to the culture and younger players

I sold Ratliffs stock 2 seasons ago. I've always said he was by far the most over hyped player on this team. Jay is a solid player, someone that can come in for a couple of plays on a rotation. But to count on this guy to motor his way for 4 qtrs just wasn't happening.
