Percy is a game changer.. But the migranes he gets would scare me off..

Up until last years injury he missed a total of 3 games in 3 years so I think a lot of that was overblown.

Not making a call but Harvin also has close to 700 yds total rushing those years with 4 extra TDs and another 5 TDs in returns. Also only played 8 games last year with those numbers.

So you completely disregard what Harvin brings to the table in the run game? They give him goal line carries, with Adrian Peterson on the team. Harvin also averaged 35.9 yards returning kicks, which probably leads the league. Harvin was #2 wr in the league in yards after the catch despite playing in only 9 games. Miles also benefits playing with Romo. Ponder is averaging 177 pass ypg in his career. This just isn't a good comparison. Harvin is maybe the best overall offensive player in the league, QB's not included.

When we trade a first for a WR it's a disaster. When another team does it it's genius.

Wrong on Harvin. This was his first real injury. He missed only 3 games his first 3 years. People need to stop reading migraine reports and look at the reality of it. For all he did he was actually durable.

Just not that productive as a WR.

Not sure what that means? The guys numbers the last year or so rivals the top WRs. The guy all around produces. Why do you think Peterson is so peeved?

From @AdrianPeterson The best all around player I ever seen or you'll ever see! Goes to Seattle! I feel like I just got kicked in the stomach. Several times!!!

had zero drops on his 82 targets last season and his 62 receptions were the most of any WR who didn't drop a pass. While the Vikings haven't typically thrown it much to Harvin in the end zone -- in his nine games last season, he had four end-zone targets and one reception -- they used him often as a receiver inside an opponent's 20 (13 targets and eight catches). Plus, he had four rushing attempts in goal-to-go situations. And lest you believe that Harvin is only a slot receiver, according to Pro Football Focus, 156 of his 261 routes came from the slot; that 59.8 percent slot rate is significantly lower than players like Randall Cobb (84.4 percent), Wes Welker (82.2 percent) and Victor Cruz (69.7 percent). Harvin is as versatile as he is dangerous.

As far as production over a 16 game season he comes up short. Even Austin had a time when he blew every other player away for half a season. That didn't make him a great wr.

How many years did that take?
It was the last 7 games of his 3rd year and the first 9 of his 4th year. Not sure where you are going with this?

I think Harvin is one of the top 15 most explosive players in the NFL when healthy. This is a good deal for Seattle because Harvin can fill a void at WR and contribute in many other ways at the same time. He is a proven commodity. This is a good deal for Minny because Harvin wasn't happy in Min. and now they have another 1st rounder and a 7th rounder (as well as a mid round pick next year per NFL.com).
