Rumor has it that Russell Wilson wasn't getting along with Harvin. Therefore, another 'divorce.' Perhaps, Wilson is difficult to get along with:)

Naaah. Not Mr. Seahawk himself. Wilson is the poster boy for all things perfect.

1. Very interested in what Seattle received for him considering all they gave up to acquire him.

2. It takes a big weapon away from an offense that is already somewhat one-dimensional.

Don't they have an emerging WR that needs to get snaps. Harvin hasn't exactly been rocking and reeling lately.

They've got a couple guys but they aren't any where close to being established.

And after losing Tate in the offseason... It's just not the same offense.

Hey had like 3 TDs nullified against Washington which really hurt his 2014 stats, he hasn't really done anything. I'm hearing bad locker room guy.

seattle is not helping Wilson. They let Tate go, Rice is always hurt, and now they rid themselves of Harvin......who is Wilson going to throw to?

The Seahawks are smart. They know Harvin isn't worth what they are paying for him. So they trade him and make the Jets take his contract.

Yeah, I was looking at a Seattle board and guys were saying stuff like "well now we can get back to being a power running fb team."

I think they're going to find that running lanes are hard to come by against any kind of quality defense.

Rice as far as I am concerned was just like all their other receivers. A pretty much nameless, faceless bunch who could be just as well named "joey potatoes". Rice did retire in the offseason I thought.

Heard “anger management” had quite a bit to do w/ Harvin’s departure in Seattle. (1/2)
History of confrontations w/ teammates contd in SEA according to my guy including punching G Tate during SB week & near fight w/ #3 in ‘14

Also, a league source told the Times that Harvin didn't want to go back in at the end of the game Sunday against Dallas.
Harvin also didn't travel to Oakland for final preseason game Aug. 28 after getting into altercation with Doug Baldwin earlier in week.

“Chemistry” concerns caused Seahawks to dump Harvin
Posted by Mike Florio on October 18, 2014, 1:11 AM EDT

Now that the Seahawks shockingly have cut the cord on receiver Percy Harvin, it’s time to figure out why it happened. Multiple versions likely will emerge, but the bottom line is that Harvin’s ongoing presence threatened to disrupt team chemistry.

Hall of Fame quarterback Warren Moon, who works for the Seahawks as color analyst for the team’s radio broadcasts, explained the situation to Alex Marvez and Gil Brandt of SiriusXM NFL Radio on Friday night.

“One thing Pete Carroll wants is great chemistry on the field as well as off the field,” Moon said. “And they had a tough time trying to figure out how to fit Percy Harvin and his skill set into what they already do as a philosophy offensively with Marshawn Lynch running the football and their play-action game. And then there was a little bit of a chemistry problem within the locker room at times with Percy, because he’s a different type of guy. So I think the combination of the two made it to where he was expendable. . . .
