the jets should convert percy to QB so that they have 3 qbs who can only run and not throw
Well Russell Wilson did get a divorce over the offseason. Hmmmmm?
Well Russell Wilson did get a divorce over the offseason. Hmmmmm?
He's a headache waiting to happen.
And guess what the Jets are drafting next year? Another QB?
Rex Ryan, Michael Vick, Geno Smith, Chris Johnson and now Percy Harvin. Should an interesting 9 more games this year for the Jets and the NY media. Hilarious.
Why do teams keep trading him? I heard it was a conditional mid round pick? whoa.
I'm guessing something happened there. He was reportedly in a twist after he had all of those TDs called back against the Skins and then he didn't get a lot of balls thrown to him in the loss to Dallas. I'll bet somebody said something to the wrong person.
Honeymoon is over for the Seahawks. San Diego created the wound, we opened it up more, and now they are questioning their very core.
Still a good team but no dynasty here folks...
It appears that is the case with Harvin.Well, only reason we got Haley was he wore out his welcome somewhere else.
They have to find a way to get rid of huge contracts because of Russell Wilson's huge upcoming pay day. I think it was a great move by them.
Why would the Jets take that contract?
2. It takes a big weapon away from an offense that is already somewhat one-dimensional.
Good point, but why do it now? As far as I've heard, they can't do anything with Wilson's contract until after the season.
Moving on from the contract and getting anything in return was good for the Seahawks. It seemed clear he did not fit in their offense and they had no idea if there was a way to utilize him. Seattle will now save $6.47 million in salary cap space and salary this year by trading him, money that can be rolled over to the 2015 season and used for the Wilson extension. Harvin will carry a $7.2 million dead money charge on the Seahawks 2015 salary cap, which represents another $5.7 million in freed up cap space, though it was likely they were releasing him next year anyway.
Seattle will miss him, but Geno Smith will miss him more.
