It's a rumor. Players or agents can want any amount. The reality is there is a limit to what teams will pay.

I like McPhee as a DE for the Cowboys, but he has been a career backup and has been miscast in a 3-4. I don't see a guy going from backup to 10M per.

Yes, he would be a good fit in Marinelli's scheme. He has been miscast in the 3-4 going between OLB and DE. A 4-3 DE is right in the middle between a 3-4 DE and 3-4 OLB.

lol you are seriously uninformed. The guy played OLB in their base defense, SDE and DT in their 4man fronts, and was one of 2 DL when they would play their hybrid defense. This guy can play in any system. Inform yourself on the player before tryping something.
