I thought he was ahead of the class. LEts face it, if this team losses against the Eagles, you are going to see worse than his thread. And its nice to see a thread that was wanted for a few reasons and it did its purpose, its generated talk and posts.

I don't understand what you find so remarkable about the ganged up on phenomenon. It happens for every team on virtually every forum. Go to a Raiders forum and insult the team, watch the fans jump on you. Even a Commanders forum where their fans are seriously upset. Try a college football team.

It isn't some amazing aberration that only happens here. Fan is short for fanatic. That means fiercely loyal and defensive are quite likely. You could be speaking the 100% truth and someone will not like it.

Ths sad part is that there are "supposed" Cowboy fans that hope we lose to the eagles...it helps with their agenda against whatever bothers them.

Also, I suspect that there are many posters (posers) on this site that are actually fans of other teams that only show up when the Boyz lose just to rub it in a little. Of course, I could be wrong...

yeah, but as Cover 2 explain, its not that hes hoping Dallas losses, hes just rallying up the negative crowd or letting people vent. He made that clear.

Maybe he was a bit down that day, maybe he was just seeing it from anothers point of view. Who knows, he started a thread and i highly doubted he expected this much flak or expected this thread to take off as it did.

I liked it personally. Made my day a little cheerier. Ideas and emotions sometimes dont convey over real well while on the unlimited garbage highway. Still people show up, get together and have a good time. Even my type of person, the pessimist in the corner drinking alone.

Some people are just happy with a win, some people understand you won today but your defense didnt do a great job, and some people just see the writing on the wall before others and know its not going to be pretty.

All in all, here we are.

when throwing to my two friends one ran good precise routes (I always hit him on target), and the other one would always be able to get open, but he was never where I expected him and I could never hit him on target. That is what Roy Williams is like.

My biggest complaint is that he only has two receptions for 20+ yards and both were in week-1. Since then he has had nothing over 18 yards. He's not breaking any tackles and doesn't seem to know what to do with the ball once he catches it. Maybe he is still fair-catching that ball. Also he' had more than his share of dropped passes.

It shouldn't matter how much he averages. He moves the chains and he's done well scoring points. What else to you want from the so-called #3?

I got ya. My class was 127. Small school back then. Everyone got along with everyone for the most part. Just a side note. My high school Don Bosco Prep in NJ is now ranked number 2 in the country for football in USA today. I think they won 6 games total my four years there.

I know right where that is at.

Nothing to complain about? ...wonder why Romo was throwing late in the game v. the Hawks? the running game couldnt not close the game out! I know ppl think Garret is an idoit but I think he can tell when his team can convert by running!

Combine a running game that cant close games out with a D that gives up points in the 2 minute drill, not something to complain about but maybe worry a little!

What's funny about Cover2's defensive claims is he tried to do EXACTLY that with his initial post in this thread, telling us optimists not to bother posting, or even reading this thread...

Seems he wants the right to complain whenever he feels like it, but he doesn't want to give those who disagree with him the same right... how sad for him that we don't follow his marching orders, LOL...

The strong-minded don't mind being "ganged up on"... I remember taking a lot of flak for criticizing Superstar Randal Williams, for pointing out that a receiver who never caught any passes was pretty much worthless, no matter how fast he was...

Nobody had my back on that one, and I had a lot of critics... but I was right, I knew I was right, and I stuck to my guns...

I know it sounds like I've been criticizing you in this thread, and I don't really mean to... but you have to understand that when you put an opinion out on a message board, folks WILL disagree with it... if your opinion is solid, you should be able to defend it, and conversely, if you can't defend it, perhaps you should reconsider that opinion...
