ZEKE!!!

4. Dallas: Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio State. I think it comes down to Joey Bosa and Elliott here, with strong sentiment around the organization for both. Question is, can Jerry Jones avoid the temptation of picking the best pass-rusher available, Bosa, with all the MIA guys on the Dallas front seven early in the season. The offensive coaches love Elliott and think he’d take major pressure off Tony Romo—and he’s an NFL ready blocker and receiver out of the backfield right now. I think it could go either way, and I’m picking Elliott simply because he has a chance to be a rushing champion, while Bosa is probably an eight-to-10-sack guy.

Notable:

3. San Diego: Jalen Ramsey, CB, Florida State.
5. Tennessee: Laremy Tunsil, OT, Mississippi.
Trade with Titans.
6. Baltimore: Joey Bosa, DE, Ohio State.
10. New York Giants: Myles Jack, LB, UCLA.

I remember we wanted Q Jammer
I think it's either Ramsey or Zeke

Chargers will probably decide it by taking Ramsey themselves

I remember we wanted Q Jammer out of Texas but the Chargers picked him ahead of us so we picked T New

If it comes down to Bosa or EE then I hope they pick Bosa.

So Tunsil is on the board and Dallas neither drafts him, nor accepts Tennessee's trade offer to move down and they overpay for a running back they don't need (or told everyone they didn't need in free agency).

Asinine.

That's how you screw up a draft and the #4 overall pick.

But it wouldn't shock me if the self-preserving politicians inside the building sell the Jones boys on needing the 'last piece of the Puzzle' on offense. Namely because they themselves bring nothing to the table in terms of coaching or creativity and therefore need a 'steak on every plate' to look capable.

We took Roy Williams (dropped back from 6 to 8 by trading with KC) the year the Chargers took Jammer. We took Newman the next year at #4. Should have taken Suggs.

Really? That'd be pretty amazing since they were in different drafts.

So you know that there is a good trade offer from Tennessee? Otherwise you are just blowing smoke.

There are good DEs in round two.

Zeke would be a move that shows we are all in. Romo was outstanding in 2014 with a great running game. Yes, McFadden put up some numbers last year but we didn't dominate. Zeke for about 15 carries a game, a fresh Morris laying a bit of lumber, and McFadden's speed against a tired D? That could be dominant.

Because we didn't have our all pro QB converting 3rd downs and keeping drives going.

Did you bother to read the original post or just try to jump on me?

Did you miss the part where Jacksonville made the trade with Tennessee one pick later?

Or are you thinking that they're locked in on the #5 pick for no reason whatsoever but would have no interest in the #4 pick?

There's a possibility that teams who are targeting Tunsil don't believe that they have to get in Dallas' spot to take him, stash. Of the top 5 teams, we are in the weakest position to trade down due to needs vs. talent available, IMHO. I think most teams (correctly) assume that Tunsil, though an immense talent, is of a lower priority to a team with an already stacked o-line and a top 3 LT as is. Compound that with the fact that it's cheaper to trade into the 5th spot than it is the 4th (though not by much). Just a thought, brother.
