How is that Favres fault? Should he have quit before he needed to so that Aaron Rodgers could get experience. Favre had the team one game from the championship last year. No fan would trade last years season for the chance to get Arod a few games under his belt. That comment makes no sense.

You fault Favres for playing and playing well. Maybe TO should retire now so that some rookie can gain playing experience. The fact that TO is still a great player should not enter into the logic.

And apparently the Packer management know what they have in Rodgers and that is why they are ok with Favre retiring.
