Romo is better than Peyton this year.

I will take our Oline over theirs, either that or Barber is far superior to Addai.

I think the Colts experience in big games is the difference between us. It showed in their play against NE.

i would give them the rb position.

If the Colts had Marion Barber i'd personally pick them to win the Superbowl.

I would love to get Addai in free agency to pair with Barber...

Honestly, I don't know how anybody can say that Indy's running game is better then ours. You can say Addai is better then Barbar but Addai gets more carries so he produces more yards. Our combination of Barbar and Jones is better then Indy's combination of Addai and Keith. Over the course of the season, we have rushed for 1544 yards, 13 TDs and averaged 4.4 yards a carry. Indy has rushed for 1482, 17 TDs and averaged 3.8 YPC. Our combination of B&J has accounted for 448 yards on 60 RECs. Only 2 TDs. Indy's combination of Addai and Keith have accounted for 387 yards on 45 catches and produced 4 TDs. Indy has a better AYPC at 8.4 compared to our 7.5 but as far as over all production, we have combined for more yards. There backs have producted more TDs by alot thou. 20 to 15. To me, I'd say it's a wash but I guess if you like TD production, then you can say that there's is better. For me, I put more emphysis on average yards. To me, that is a better indicator of what your actually trying to accomplish with your running game. Your trying to sustain drives and wear down the defense. If you can consistantly produce a 4.4 Yard Per Carry average, then you have a much better chance of consistantly staying in very managable downs and distances. Your offensive play book is much more open to routes etc.

Even worse I dont see how any can say Addai is better than Barber.

If you watch the 2 play its not even close.

I think we would be a worse team without Barber. Hes literally a human shot of adrenaline.

I dont think very many if any GM's would take Addai over Barber so it surprises me to see so many Cowboys fans saying they like Addai slightly more than Barber.

So King is saying we have no chance against either the Pats or the Colts if we play them in the SB.
Well, I for one am depressed, guess I should get my New Years Eve drinking started tonight.

I think Addai is a prototypical RB for todays NFL. I think he is a better inside runner than Barber but that is the only thing he is better at. His is much more fragile than Barber,. I have seen him come out so many times this year after a play. I have never seen Barber come out for an injury - has he?

I would take Barber, I just wish he would not bounce everything outside, but more times than not he is successful at it so it is hard to complain about the times he is not.

King did not say that at all. He thought they were both very close in all facets. When asked what would happen if they met on a neutral field ten times, he felt Indy would probably win six.

I just think he has it backwards. ;) Our Offense is better than theirs, but their defense is better than ours. The statistics on nfl.com seem to say that.
That's my thinking, too.

I don't really have a problem with someone thinking the Colts are better than us. It's very close, obviously, but they do have experience at QB and a D that finally seems to totally understand Dungy's system.

The problem for them is that Freeney is a huge loss that can't be replaced, and they might not get Harrison back at all. Without those guys, I don't think they beat us or the Pats... But it's still pretty close.

And BTW... I think Addai is a stud. I'd trade Barber for him in a heartbeat.

I think the truth is being twisted by some to vilify Peter King. When the guy said Manning over Romo....he prefaced his opinion by said it's very close and that not many are playing any better than Romo right now. In fact the two teams seem to be inches apart based on King's view...it's not like he said they would kill us...in fact in a nine game series he thought the Colts might win five, that's how close we are.
If you want to criticize someone, criticize Cowturd who was trying his best to have King validate his opinion that the Colts are better in all but ONE or TWO areas than the Cowboys by convenintely omitting tight ends and linebackers from the conversation.

He did throw out a stipulation about the Colts receiver. He said once Harrison comes back for the playoffs that he gives the Colts the slight edge and that included Dallas getting Glenn back.

He said the Colts O-line was better based on the type of offense they run and how in sync they are with Manning. He seemed to imply that Dallas had more talent along the O-line, but the Colts have just been playing together for a long time.

The Colts are starting backups right now, so how have they been playing together longer... The guy brain is full of blubber!

Its very close at all areas on offense. No real edge to either team anywhere.

On D with Freeny gone for the season we have a slight edge on D line, and a bigger edge on LB. CB= depends on who is healthy, but fully healthy I give us an edge. Safeties they have the edge definitly. That is the only area on both teams that is really not that close.

I can't pick the Cowboys DLine over the Colts DLine with a healthy Freeney.

If you take d-line as the front seven you can. The Cowboys only have 3 actually defensive linemen to their four. The Cowboys linemen are closer related to the Colts tackles rather than DEs. If you take the whole front, then Ware > Freeney and the Cowboys front seven with Ellis, Ratliff, Canty, and Spears are >>> Colts.

I'll take our entire front 7 over their entire front 7.

Bob Sanders is so freaking good that he makes this a debate.

But Newman is the quiet killer as always because I know going into each week the other teams best receiver is going to get locked up.

Plus as good as Freeney is I think Demarcus Ware is a better overall player and word on the street is a lot of people think hes right behind Albert Haynesworth for DPOY.

Barber is also a change of momentum when we need it. He contributes more than just with play.

I don't know. I think Barber is a player that inspires other players to raise their game. The way he lowers his shoulder, never stops running, and bounces right up is inspirational. I think there have been several games where the cowboys were losing, but then played better on a momentum shift from Barber. It's one of those things that don't show up in the stats.
