Bob Sanders is so freaking good that he makes this a debate.
But Newman is the quiet killer as always because I know going into each week the other teams best receiver is going to get locked up.

Plus as good as Freeney is I think Demarcus Ware is a better overall player and word on the street is a lot of people think hes right behind Albert Haynesworth for DPOY.

please...this has already been discussed in other threads...other than some nice hits vs the run, he's no better than what we have, and RW has made far more big plays over time than Sanders has, the numbers arnt even remotely close either

Addai is a good player, but Barber is a tougher player and can do all the things he does...the only thing Addai might have on him is speed

Slightly off-topic, but because I'd like to nip this in the bud right here, I heard one annoncer say Haynesworth over Ware this week. I heard another say that Ware probably leads the pack for DPOY by a hair. I like the second random speculation better, so let's land on that one and keep repeating it until it become public perception.

I have to believe that if it's really that close, at least a few voters will remember Haynesworth's stomping of Gurode's face and general thuggish reputation, and give it to the good guy.

But Ware still has McFlabb and whichever stiff Carolina runs out there to get a lead.
