The center position is a game changing position. When Dallas drafted Frederick and moved on from Costa, it had a massive impact. The whole offense improved. Center is the heartbeat of the OL and Dak, Zeke, Cooper, etc can not play at their best with a subpar center.

We forget what happened when Travis Frederick played at First Team All Pro level in 2016. Zeke at times wasn't touched till 2-3 yards past line of scrimmage on runs.
There is no denying the importance of Center if we draft high likelier to get Blue Chip Center even Henessy!! I like both just Ruiz sell more jerseys

I don't see that as *improving* the team that much. We have two high draft picks in McGovern and Williams.

I've thought we could pick a C if one we really liked *fell* and provided great value. But reaching for marginal improvement seems mighty dumb.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised to see Frederick want to come back next year if his health improved and That Which We Must Not Name has passed on.
