Reaching the AFC Championship as wild card is a pretty good start. Beating Pittsburgh and Indy (a game NON ONE gave them a shot to win, with an injured LT and Rivers) on the road is a tall order. Hell we couldn't beat a team that we had beaten twice by double digits with a week of rest and a homefield advantage. I don't have any qualms about the ranking.

I don't quite understand what your trying to get too there? Are you talking about Jacksonville or San Diego? Or both? Or?

Ah you are correct. My bad. Not sure where I got my wires crossed, there.

Note to self: don't post while pre-occupied.

I can't even defend myself here, I must have been talking about San Diego Jaguars.:

Nope, I mean a team with a running back who could flatten Shawn Merriman, the "toughest" team by terms of aggressiveness, a team will zero wide receivers, yet is capable of winning 12 games with an average QB and a defense that on every play can force a turn over ;)

EDIT: stasheroo, I feel better now also.

I don't know many average QBs who can complete 64% of their passes and throw 18 TDs with only 3 INTs.

They have a very good QB, a very good run game, sucky *** WRs (which makes Garrard's stats even more impressive), and a good defense.

1. NE
2. Indy
3. Jax
4. Cowboys
5. Chargers
6. Giants

My order:

1. Dallas
2. NE
3. Jax
4. Indy
5. SD
6. GB if Rogers plays like he did against us, if not then the Giants can take this spot (it was their spot last year too - but they got hot and lucky at the right time)

Jacksonville #3?

Wow, they didnt even win their division and they are already being pimped as the 3rd best team in the NFL?

Please, compare the two rosters and tell me you would pick Jacksonville over Dallas.

#3 in the league, yea right.

All true. But I'm still not sure that they upgraded that receiving core enough by adding Jerry Porter and Troy Williamson. However, if they did, look out.
