Based off reading most of the posts:
Rack wasn't wrong in his criticisms, it was how he said it...
Some feel he should be more sensitive to the family members on the board
Some feel Petitti is doing ok considering, but wish he'd play a little better
Some wish the whole OL would play better
Some wouldn't mind an upgrade next year, if Petitti doesn't show improvement
Did I miss anything, besides the numerous insults against one another?

And it is insensitive to insult a member of the board esp the father of a player.
Rack said:When did that happen? I don't recall anyone insulting Pittdawg.
Are you making crap up or did you actually read someone insult him?

petetti is a rook thrust into a starter's role... just his being a rookie should buy him a pass this year...
ALL our rookies deserve our patience... this ain't a "cup 'o soup" league where you just add water and expect an instant solid-starter... reasonable fans understand that you may invest 2 or 3 years in a young player before you can begin to see the dividends of said investment (look at the leap Brady James has made in his 3rd year...)
Petetti, a rookie, suits up, shows up, and STARTS for crying out loud... that puts him waaaay ahead of the Al Johnson, Jacob Rogers, et al timetable...
it's not the kid's fault the Cowboys were caught with their pants down and NO decent veteran starter at RT.

summerisfunner said:I'm not really criticizing Rack for how he went about criticizing Pettiti, but why? when there are other culprits, just wondering why he's solely focusing the brunt of criticizm on him
If you insult my wife you are insulting me
You are trying to defend an indefensible position
"Pettiti sucks" is obnoxious, insensitive and labeling. It is a cognitive distortion as well as a social blunder. If you don't understand that then I'm not going to try and debate that with you.
Rack said:Do you ask that same question everytime someone criticizes a player? Did you go into the Cundiff threads and say "Why this player, there are other culprits"?

You are trying to defend an indefensible position. But go ahead. You can say anything within the rules you like.

It wouldn't be the first time you've acted this way on this board.
I'm not a moderator but I'm entitled to my opinion and my opinion is you should not speak as you did. You are capable of expressing your opinion very well and without labeling. You bring up very good points and contribute to this board. Just my opinion but I'm sorry goes a long way.
summerisfunner said:but I do it when a "bash Bledsoe" thread is started, and in this case, a "bash Pettiti" thread, when a couple of his linemates were at fault yesterday as well, which has been the case throughout the year...
...
There is a thing called a double standard. I suggest some here look into it. Including moderation

Rack sucks.
joshjwc9 said:Courtney Brown was actually lined up on him alot too. Pettiti had a bad day. He still is a rookie and should be a backup right now, but he isnt. I would have been perfectly fine if we signed Gragg or McKenzie in the offseason instead of Rivera. But Rogers got hurt and so on. I expect a big overhaul this offseason with Gurode, Rogers and possibly Rivera being let go. We will focus on Oline in the draft and hopefully fire Tony Sparano because we need a new Oline coach too.
