I am not going to just list the best players, but the ones that I hope we target.

RB - Terrence Magee - LSU
Low mileage on those tires and he is small and powerful with good quickness. Always talked about as a team guy. Seems like the RKG for us. had an awesome bowl game. season-high 127 yards rushing, 44 yards receiving and 49 yards on kickoff returns and 2 TD's. Remember He had to split time with Fournette this year because I am sure Les Miles promised LF he would play his Freshman year to get him to commit.

S- Anthony Harris - Good nose for the ball and solid defender. Led the nation in picks as a junior with 8.

DE - Kyle Emanuel - NDSU
Logged 16.5 tackles for loss and 10 sacks in eight games against top 25 opponents. Had 19.5 sacks on the season. Played in a 3-4 but is a good SAM prospect.

RB - John Crockett - NDSU
6-foot, 215-pound Crockett, who rushed for 1,994 yards in his final season with the Bison, was picked a team captain for the West prior to the senior game.

S - Derron Crockett- Fresno St
Another Crockett...I know. But he fits in well with the Mcclains and the Crawfords. Derron is a Free Safety that is a ballhawk. Lots of picks and a good tackler.

ILB - Ben Heeney (6-0, 230) - Kansas-
Known as the Diabolical Defender. All he does is make tackles and play hard. Maybe a Kuechly?

DE Za’Darius Smith (6-5, 264) - Kentucky-
Played inside and outside and finished with 61 tackles (third on the team), 7.5 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks. He’s likely to be drafted on Day 3.

Was just looking at draft prospects yesterday, started to make a list also. But never got back to it.
Will try today to finish it.

Was wondering when draft stuff was going to get started on here.
I don't know much about any guys on your list, nor heard of them. But I like this, then it gives me players to look at from other fans perspective. As I am not a draft guru, nor follow college players all that much, other than the games I watch. Which is mostly Ohio State, and Big 10 teams they play. But now that the season is over [other than the illegitimate SB] I can look at the draft class a bit more.

DT - Jordan Phillips
1st Pick in our draft. Interior cog that can penatrate and will rise in this draft. Requires teams to game plan agaianst as he is a beast of a man who stands at 6'6 and 330lbs. For a big man, he stays low and is quick twitched. Only a RS Sophomore and has declared for the draft. He definitely needs a little more love in this forum and would like to hear from OU fans as draftbreakdown only has 3 videos of him up.

DE - Owamagbe Odighizuwa
2nd pick and starting SDE. Quick off the ball and very aggressive.

RB - Jeremy Langford
Another hit on a 4th round running back. One cut runner that can catch and block. His game reminds me a lot of Demarc

I have watched some film on draft breakdown and not just Youtube HIGHLIGHTS. These 3 just stand out as need positions for us that will contribute from day 1.

Ant Harris was a great college football player. I'm not sure how he'll run but he was a tremendous leader and has all the measureables. He wasn't the best safety in Charlottesville, though. That guy guy is 6'4", 220 lb. first-year Quin Blanding. He'll be a top-ten pick in 2017. My favorite safety in this year's draft, though, is Cody Prewitt.

My cats:

Max Valles: 6-5, 240 pound linebacker out of Virginia. He's athletic, fast, explosive and has great instincts. From covering TEs to harassing QBs, Valles never stops. He was overshadowed on the UVA defense by Harold, Harris and Blanding, but he was the best player on the team IMHO (some people would say Blanding and I wouldn't argue). My bet is, he gets drafted by some 3-4 team in round two, but if he falls to us in the third, I snatch him and don't look back. I see him on the strong side in sort of a Von Miller role. He had nine sacks on the season as an OLB/pass rusher in Tenuta's rather aggressive 4-3. If he has a down side, I think it's strength. He could stand to eat a biscuit or two.

Jamison Crowder: (WR) 5-9, 175 lbs - Duke - A Quick slot guy who also happens to be a great kick and punt returner. I think they must be using an old weight for him because he looks thicker than 175 and certainly plays that way. He's STRONG, breaks tackles, knows how to get open, adjusts extremely well to the ball and has GREAT hands. He looks like a RB when he has the ball. For his size, he's a really good blocker, too. Just a fantastic football player. Check these out...

Haven't done too much draft research yet but I am very familiar with the LSU draft prospects. Here's what I think:

La'el Collins OT (projected 1st round): Has all the numbers of an OT with great intangibles. Responsible team player. Collins played LT in college but I think he'll fare better at RT in the pros because he's more powerful than agile. Would be an excellent replacement for Free but will be long gone before we make our first selection.

Danielle Hunter DE (projected late 1st round to 2nd round): Absolute physical freak (6'6'', 250), but for whatever reason, doesn't produce the numbers. I think he had like 2 sacks this past year. LSU's DC was a conservative blitzer, but I don't think that should excuse his poor performance. A less talented Kiki Mingo. He'll probably be there when we pick, but I'd pass.

Jalen Collins CB (projected 2nd round): Big, physical cornerback (6'2'', 200) who is suited for press coverage. Didn't have elite numbers in college but that's primarily due to him being in an ultra-talented secondary. Like Claiborne, I don't think we'd utilize him properly. Pass.

Kwon Alexander LB (projected late 3rd round to 4th round): My pet cat for this draft so far. Reminds me a lot of Hitchens, not a super flashy guy but has great instincts and always seems to make crucial tackles when the game is on the line. Would be a good weakside linebacker to replace Carter should we let him go.

Jermauria Rasco DE (projected 7th round): Undersized DE who relies on speed and swim moves to get to the QB. Shows flashes every once in a while, but is pretty inconsistent.

Terrance Magee RB (projected 7th round): Solid RB that may be worth picking up as a UFA should he slip through the draft. Not sure I'd use a draft pick on him though.

Crowder reminds me of TY Hilton, I'd be on board with him as a Dwayne Harris replacement in the WR core if they choose to let him walk.

At this early point, the only pet cat I have is Kevin Johnson, CB Wake Forrest.

The guy can really play and has been severely overlooked because of who he plays for.

Pet Cats of mine:

1. Markus Golden DE Missouri - Round 1-2
-I really like this kid. He doesn't get enough credit imo. He's a 6'3 260 lb old-school style DE. Relentless motor and energy; Never gives up on the play and plays violently. Better as a run-stopping DE at this point but his relentlessness as a pass-rusher allows him to get sacks here and there. Finished top 5 in SEC in both sacks (8.5) and tackles for loss (16). Just a good ol' hard-nosed football player. Doesn't have elite size or athleticism, which is why he's a fringe-1st rounder right now, but he's a complete football player who's more ready to be an every-down player in the NFL than his higher-ranked teammate, Shane Ray, who's expected to go Top 10.

2. Nate Orchard DE Utah - Round 1
-Just a good, solid overall football player who isn't spectacular at anything, but is good at everything. Can get after the QB (led the nation in sacks this year), but holds his own against the run. Started his career as a WR and it shows with his great bend and maneuverability.

3. T.J. Yeldon RB Alabama - Round 2-3
-Underrated and underutilized RB for the NFL talent-breeding program that is 'Bama. Good size for an NFL back at 6'1 223 lbs. with a good blend of size and speed. Great athlete. Is a 'one-cut and go' back, similar to Murray. Shows good hands out of the backfield. Needs to work on pass-protection but has the size to become good at that too. Could be steal in the late 2nd-early 3rd.

4. Kevin Johnson CB Wake Forest - Round 2
-My favorite Corner in the draft. 4 year starter with good size (6'0 175 lbs), athleticism, fluidity, and ball skills. Good tackler too who isn't afraid to come up in run support and lower his head. High character guy that will likely attract the Cowboys.

5. Christian Covington DT Rice - Round 3-4
-Interesting prospect who I like. Good size at 6'3 300 lbs. Good athleticism and shows nice hands at the point of attack with good inital burst. Is a bit awkward though in his stance and plays a little too high. Before the season started, many NFL draft experts projected him as a 2nd round pick. Unfortunately, he underwent season-ending knee surgery in November after dislocating his knee-cap in a game against Florida International. His stock could slip and could be a good pickup in the 4th round or so.

*Wild Card:

Jordan Phillips DT Oklahoma
-6'6 334 lb. monster of a DT. Not a finished product by any means, but seems like the type of toy Marinelli would love to get his hands on. His name seems to be rising right now, so wouldn't be surprised if he ends going mid-1st come draft time. Did have back surgery in 2013 so that's a major question, although most experts assume it won't affect his draft stock. (Personally, I wouldn't take him our 1st. Too many ?'s. But I could see us being interested).

Never seen Philips play, but I've read that he has back problems. Can anyone elaborate? Any time someone says "back surgery" when describing a DL, I start walking the other way.

I'm afraid Johnson is going to end up going much higher than the 4th round. I bet he ends up at least in the 2nd round.

O-diggy-zawa, Quinten Rollins, Shaq Thompson, Derron Smith, Buck Allen, and Hayes Pullard to just name a few.

This draft is not as top heavy as 2014 but it is just as deep.
