Pettiti Thread **Merged**

Why not play Columbo now? Pettiti doesnt stand a chance against Little.
If he were ready, he would have been in there. The fact he is inactive each week should be a clue he isn't ready.

Is Petitti ready? Is he really?

I can't believe people are still defending this guy. :lmao:
I can't believe Cowboys fans give Bledsoe a free ride when they wanted to get rid of Aikman because of the same problem and he actually accomplished something for the Cowboys.

if hes starting next year ill be shocked. he does nothing but let guys go around him. ive seen faster movement in nursing homes. what a pathetic player.

Dude,

Lighten up! He's one of a handful of rookies to man that position for 16 games, and he's still on a learning curve. Will he be a Pro-Bowler next year? WHO KNOWS! However, I'm sure he's doing the very best he can, and very few people would even get the chance to do what he's doing - "pathetic" is a little strong, don't you think?

What's more - he's going up against Leonard Little. Leonard Little would make some Pro-Bowlers look like rookies.

You need to relax.

Plain and simple either the guy can play or he can't and to me he just doesn't have it. i could care less what round he was drafted in. don't be making excuses for him if its parcells fault it's his fault. n but don't be trying to sugar coat it. he should not have been in the starting line up all year long.

And two weeks ago he was going against Phillip Daniels - not a Pro Bowl DE.

Sorry, but that learning curve needs to straighten out sometime. In Rob's case, I'm afraid it's an endless series of switchbacks.

And I'll eat my computer piece by piece if he's a Pro Bowler next year.

Actually he dressed and is on every FG/XP block team. He is #75.

Exactly. It seems that EVERYBODY he goes up against is a pro-bowler.

Well...it's true. They could become pro-bowlers if they went up against him repeatedly.

Again...is he "really" ready to be a starting RT in the NFL? I honestly don't know.

that's just bold man

It would give me an excuse to buy a new computer though - at eight years old and still running Windows 98, it's amazing that the hard drive is still running.

What I'm saying is...

Ease up a little. He's doing the best he can. I see a lot of people on here just ready to toss the guy in the garbage and it's an over-reaction. I want to see him improve also, but i can balance that with the fact that he's a rookie playing a very tough position.

Should he start? Yes, because he's the best option on our roster right now. Don't you people think Parcells would start someone else if that person could do better? I'm a passionate fan, but you've got to inject some reality in this thing. It's not like he's being beaten every snap. Hell, Tucker has been beaten a few times tonight - where are all the "let's kill Tucker" threads?

Again...I'm not saying he's a Pro-Bowler. I'm just saying cut the guy some slack.

I KNOW he wont be a pro-bowler next year....its impossible...not to mention little has had a below average year

Sorry. I didn't know I was speaking with a Prophet. You need to get in touch with Ireland prior to our draft next year and line it all up for him.

:lmao:

As bad as Pettiti has been tonight, Witten and Campbell have both been unable to stop Little as well. Witten needs to learn to block on the backside of running plays.

Holy moly. I think I'm watching Little and Petitti on rewind for the 5th time.

How Little didn't get a sack there I'll never know.

I am concerned Pettiti isnt even a back-up. I thought bill said he would die before he let Pettiti fail.....well Bill.....he is failing...badly.
