Some of these performances were overshadowed by the overall poor performance of the team. Get ready for a few shockers........

Top performers:

1. LVE. - 91.5 (!!!).
2. Zach - 74.3. (which is actually a bad grade for him)
3. La El - 74.2 ( not bad for him.... he rarely grades over 80.
4. Parsons 74.1 ( this is deceiving. He was great in pass rush (88.0) but poor against the run (48.9) )
5. Dak. 70.0. ( bad game for him not reflected in this score. Seemed to get going when the game was over)

Bottom feeders

1. Trevon Diggs 35.8. (worst game as a pro)
2. Steele 35.7. ( out of position and outclassed)
3. Brown. 42.7. ( couldn't tackle a mannequin )
4. Gregory. 45.4 ( disappointing game, hope its not a trend)
5. Osa 51.8. ( the proverbial hole in the middle of the DL)

I am not surprised by these grades at all. I thought LVE played a good game. He filled holes a few times to stop running plays. I am not surprised by Parson's grade either. Much as we like him, he seems to struggle getting off blocks too. Same with Gregory. Gregory is a pass rushing DE. I have no problem running stunts with him but I don't like lining him up the middle. I'd prefer they do that with Parsons and leave Gregory outside.

Gregory had a so-so day against a backup OT.

Diggs had two INT calls against him, gave up a TD and several other critical plays. He had a horrible game.

How many Broncos players had PFF scores over 90?I ma guessing it is a lot.

Sunday was the highest amount of snaps LVE got in a game with 51 snaps this year fwiw. Not saying higher snaps = better grades but he was out there quite a bit and I guess the PFF reviewer liked what he saw.

The OSA grade really sticks out to me. Not much argument for the rest but I thought overall osa had a solid game and the broncos kinda ran away from him

I'm guessing his grade was negatively impacted by the gaping holes created by all the slanting and stunts.

Very true. Game plans and game play like that can easily erase a team that's only got one truly competent DE on the field.
Exactly why anything 3rd and 5 or longer I wanna see Parsons, Osa, Gregory rushing and blitz a corner or a saftey. All QBs hate DB blitzes and so do olineman.

Odighizuwa made several nice plays in the backfield. I can't say that I watched what happened with him on every play, but I don't think he was the main problem with the line.

Gregory is too small to play inside and his freakish bend is wasted there. Leave him outside. Give him most of his snaps on pass plays. As you say, he's a pass rushing DE. He should be used as such.
