PFF grades vs Broncos

It's not an analogy, it's a fact. He padded his stats in garbage time last Sunday. They were down 30-0 if that isn't garbage time then I don't know what is.
It’s total ridiculous. That’s when games are won and lost in the fourth quarter.

There was no winning that game in the 4th quarter.
Yeah but are used to turn garbage time. It’s just a rude statement. Who cares about statistics for the end of a persons career. So you can look back and reflect. I just think it’s so ridiculous to call them garbage time points or statistics. Fourth-quarter is the most important quarter of the entire game . Teams have come back from 30 point deficits.

I saw this from the analytics fans and have a hard time taking PFF serious since although I applaud their efforts to make it work.

These graphs compare ESPN's system vs PFF's system for line grading.

See how off they are? The higher on the up and down, the better the ESPN score. The more to the right on the right and left, the better the PFF score.

You can see the Cowboys only match with both systems on Run Blocking. In ballpark for pass rush and run defense, but both systems completely different grades on pass protection.

I don't think any grading system is right until the NFL gets involved and sets the standards.

You'd really need to have the teams involved too, someone on the inside who knew the true gameplan/playcall and that ain't happening.

I agree that the 4th quarter is the most important when it isn't a blowout. But, it was and Dak was just risking injury being in there. Rush should have been put in.

That’s a different conversation. And I agree with it
