PFF Grades vs Skids

LVE suffering from the Jaylon Smith syndrome. Tackles that are 5+ yards downfield. And when he attempts to plug a running lane, ooops, wrong lane. And then less speed than Jaylon. uhhh boy.....cannot wait to get him replaced. Damone Clark, we'll be waiting for you next season. And put Cox pic on a milk carton, where the heck are you?

Is there an owner/GM grade?
The great new Center is now in Miami...as I said he would become had this coaching staff had a clue. If Farniok was given a chance, he would beat out Biadasz. As for Farniok, how did McGovern and Peters do replacing him? They didn't do very well. No movement on run plays. No push, no open holes/lanes. That left side (which was strong the previous 2+ games during the run when Farniok and Tyler Smith were combo starting) was rolling very well prior to yesterday's game. Everyone cried for a change, yet what happened? The rushing attack went to crap and the Left side looked very bad.

But I'm sure PFF will give them decent good ratings just so PFF can cover their own clueless rear ends.

They didn't. Everything is either all good or all bad with you. Nothing in between. Thought question, a QB heaves a hail mary before halftime and its picked off. Was it a bad play? Because all the stat sheet shows is an INT. Context matters. Sorry you don't get it.

Farniok was solid run blocking but a disaster in pass protection. He's been owned every week.

Clarke is a real possibility. Were it not for that injury, he would have gone much higher in the draft. I think we need a solid MLB in the off season. I think LVE fits better in a 3-4 rushing off the edge of chasing sideline to sideline. He doesn't belong in the middle.

PFF still doesnt like Tyler Smith, which I get

I thought this was Tyler's worst game. That doesn't mean it was bad, just that he had a little trouble at times, especially with Sweat.

Game ball to Trevon Diggs! PFF has historically graded him wrong and unfairly. Well, they got it right this week. It was a hell of a week for the secondary.

This was our super hero's worst game of the year. Micah graded out at 54 for those interested.

Top Defensive performers:

1. Trevon Diggs 91.4 (!!)
2. Donavan Wilson. 81.9
3. Hooker 74.2
4. Brown 72.1
5. LVE 69.9. He did tackle very well. His tackling grade was 81. They are not grading where he makes the tackle. Nobody offers stats that sophisticated. A tackle 10 yards down field shows up on the stat page the same way a tackle made 1 yard beyond the LOS.

Top Offensive Performers

1. CD Lamb. 75.4
2. Steele 72.0
3. Noah Brown 69.9
4. Zach Martin 67.9
5. Zeke. 64.0

PFF has Parsons rated #29 as an edge rusher. PFF is trash.

Parsons had 1 QB pressure. He did not have a "great game". It was his worst of the season.
They are scheming for Parsons. Which means opportunity for others. No one schemes for wolf boy, they just fly by him at break neck speeds. Thank God he has a neck protector he would get whiplash watching the action.

Look I am glad there is a fair share of objectivity on this site. That is all I see as well. What game could people possibly be watching. You nailed it.

That is insane. Trust your eyes not stats, reports, or even some of the folks on this site that report what they want to see rather than what they see.

That is not the same as having a good game. Its possible he had a below par game BC the other team schemed for him. But thats not what PFF is grading.

Brown is the guy who’s really stepped up and is playing good football
I have to admit I didn’t expect him to have the impact he has

I think we have a number of pleasant surprises. You start with Cooper Rush whom nobody wanted to back up Dak. Brown, Donavan Osborne, Tyler Smith.... all have exceeded expectations.

Who do you think is doing the PFF grading? They are watching not just the narrow angle view we get to see on TV. They are using the coaching tape that shows the whole field. The graders see things that we can't at home...... the tv cameras follow the ball. So thats all we see as fans. So, sure trust your eyes. A grade of 69 is a mediocre game. Nobody is claiming LVE has a great game.

Parsons was doubled and even tripled every play

Parsons was doubled and even tripled every play

That only effects his raw stats like QB pressures, sacks, and tackles. Thats not what PFF is grading. If Micah takes on a double team allowing someone else to make a play, he is still graded positively for the effort, but he still has to hold up. He wasn't winning much sunday. I'm sure Quinn will see what the skins did to him on film and figure something out...... or he may not be 100%
