On a positive note, Beebe must have had a hell of a game.

Just last week I think PFF had him at 32nd.
Yes he played well. Niners never had to play more than 4 dlineman to stop our run game or blitz for that matter. So it most likely made his job a little easier.

And "offensive" they are...... nobody on offense is having a good year. But having the worst tackle duo in the NFL isn't helping. Tyron Smith who we let walk so he could sign a contract with the NYJ for peanuts is ranked 14th. Pollard is ranked 10th among rbs.

QB - Dak 27th
RB - Dowdle 23 rd
WR -CD 28th
WR - Tolbert 57th
TE - Ferguson 44th
C - Beebe 24th
G - T Smith 14th
G - Zach 34th
T - Guyton 64th
T - Steele 53 rd
It seems like only yesterday that we were strutting around chanting 12-5!
And few knew what a nosedive this team would take.
We didn't improve, we got weaker.
Others in the NFL improved and grew stronger.
What did we think would happen?

Ferguson as 44th is surprising. Surely it is in error.

Who would have though that 60 million was only going to be good enough to buy you a 27th ranking or that 33 million would only get you #28.

I understand why people are trashing the defense, but damn, the offense has sucked every bit as bad.
agree

What metrics do they use?
I’ll give you the short version. It’s not much different from how coaches evaluate players on game tape. Every player starts with a base number and that number goes up by one or decreases by one based on players performance per play. I can’t say who evaluates or how they evaluate. I also cannot say if a player’s performance is judged in a vacuum or relative to the effect other players have on any individual play. That can get complex. I remember coaches doing this when I played at Rutgers.

If dowdle ranks higher than Dak, does that mean they have to pay dowdle a record deal too?

means Guyton is worse starting tackle in NFL

What RB on our roster makes the practice squad on another team?

So we have 1 player on offense that is above the 50th percentile. I wonder why Dak is not playing better.

It says that like me, you are a sucker for pain. Also, that despite the Dak plague we remain hopeful.

CeeDee, ranked 3rd in yardage and 7th in receptions is 28th ranked?

Under what criteria?

PFF can hit the road with that nonsense!
