And "offensive" they are...... nobody on offense is having a good year. But having the worst tackle duo in the NFL isn't helping. Tyron Smith who we let walk so he could sign a contract with the NYJ for peanuts is ranked 14th. Pollard is ranked 10th among rbs.

QB - Dak 27th
RB - Dowdle 23 rd
WR -CD 28th
WR - Tolbert 57th
TE - Ferguson 44th
C - Beebe 24th
G - T Smith 14th
G - Zach 34th
T - Guyton 64th
T - Steele 53 rd
YIKES!

PFF is a good baseline. They are unbiased and generally correct over time.
CD has been trash. He knows it himself. That happens when you miss all off-season and camp.

Who would have though that 60 million was only going to be good enough to buy you a 27th ranking or that 33 million would only get you #28.

I understand why people are trashing the defense, but damn, the offense has sucked every bit as bad.

Who would have thought having the worst ranked offensive tackle tandem would make it hard for the offense to be successful running or passing the ball.

I would have kept Tyron Smith one more year even though he is nowhere near the same player he was in Dallas. He gets beat regularly by speed rushers outside now. He might even get Rodgers hurt before the season is over. But he's still better than Steele and Guyton.
He signed an incentive laden contract for 2 years with 6M gauranteed. I don't know if he would have resigned with us under those terms, but sticking a rookie project out there at LT is sure looking like a mistake. It would have been nice to have Tyron stick around as a bridge to Guyton.

The same people who referred to PFF as the best when they over ranked Dak will now say its garbage... just watch.

Awful indeed

Just a note: ..2 teams had byes and some groups have 60 or 90 starters.
Unless this is for the season?

QB - Dak 27th (30 starters this week)
RB - Dowdle 23 rd (30)
WR -CD 28th (90)
WR - Tolbert 57th (90)
TE - Ferguson 44th (30-60?)
C - Beebe 24th (30)
G - T Smith 14th (60)
G - Zach 34th (60)
T - Guyton 64th (60)
T - Steele 53 rd (60)

Dak is tied for 27th with rookie Drake Maye

29th Deshaun Watson
30 Matt Stafford
31Tyler Huntley
32 Caleb Williams

They're a lot of QB injuries so there are more than 32 QBs who have started a significant number of games. Other notables playing worse than Dak are such luminaries as Anthony Richardson, Gardner Minschew and Spencer Rattler.
Look when you're playing for the brotherhood, your ranking just doesn't matter!

The whole time people bash zeke/rbs/dak I've been saying it would help to have even a semblance of o line blocking. I even took the time to grab game photos and show our blocking compared to Detroit. Absolutely....frighteningly....putrid.

There are 64 starting guards, tackles, cbs, safeties, etc in a regular week and depending on how many teams have byes you have to reduce it. Just like you have 32 starting QBs, TEs, Centers. Depending on their offense you will have varying numbers of RBs and WRs

teams depending on their Defense have different numbers of DL and LBs

So if you are like a QB being ranked 27 is worse than say a Tackle who is rated 30

now I have total contempt for PFF but for the moment saying this is accurate means that the only player shown that played well was Tyler Smith and even HE is down from his All Pro year last year which meant he was at top 2 in the NFL for left guards which means he was top 4 for all guards

There have been a number of times when Dak has had good protection and he has still stank it up

Very true. The recent 9ers dak video going around clearly shows some severe problems..
Most of my defense was for rbs and terrible run block/scheme.
Pass blocking is usually...doable.

Owner/President/GM - Jerry Jones 96th (out of 96 since he has 3 titles)
