Just midweek debate starter thread. Try to keep it focused on players. I'm not responding to PFF complaints bc I really don''t care what you think of PFF.

Dak - 18th ranked QB
Cd Lamb - 9th ranked WR
Tony Pollard. 3rd ranked rb
Zeke - 18th ranked rb
Dalton Schultz - 22nd TE
Biadez - 23rd C
Zach Martin - 16th G
McGovern - 65th G
Steele - 20th T. (PFF does NOT distinguish between R and L tackles)
Tyler Smith 46th T
D Bland 20th CB
Diggs 32nd CB
Hooker 19th S
Kearse 29th S
LVE 20th LB
Osa 50th DT
Micah - 3rd edge defender (#2 pass rush behind Myles Garret)
DlAW - 19th edge defender
Sam Williams 40th edge defender
All it says to me is that for the most part we are overachievers.

As I've said many times before, PFF is a joke!!!

Plus, they are owned by that Cowboys hating loser in Cris Collingsworth! That should tell you everything about PFF.

Ok. Those rankings do not seem tight. But these things are usually subjective. All that matter is we are 10 and 3.

I didn't post this weeks grades yet.

This is Zachs first year not graded in the top 5 and 22 points lower than last year when he graded out at an astounding 93.4 for the season. This year they got him in the 71.1 range which is good but not close to his standard.

Thats all I got. I don't know what they are seeing, but you can't accuse them of cowboy-bias or anti-zach sentiment b/c he usually kills it on their grading scale. But, again, they grade every play while most fans only remember the highlights and are not reviewing game film.
Just more proof only an idiot takes PFF player rating seriously
You can whine and cry all you want but trying to say Zach is only 16th is beyond BULL****
And frankly I laugh at anyone claiming there is no such thing as bias; everyone has biases. EVERYONE
And who do they have grading Zach. Tell me his name and what qualifies him to judge a Future HOF player

The only ones that say its subjective are PFF and their minions

My only comment is Zach Martin. Now I don't follow all 32 teams, but I have a hard time seeing him as the 16th best guard. Don't think he's #1 but I haven't seen a drop in play to see him that low for a player of his caliber.

Did you not see him get a holding penalty a few games ago? Dude is slippin'. If I'm McClay, I'd be checking the draft for Guards that can make up for his slacking lately.

Not to be mean, But Shultz should be gone after this year unless he takes a huge paycut.
His production is no where near his salary and we got 2 young promising rooks behind him.

Schultz seems to be Dak's favorite target. Obviously in Schultz is asking for big time money, you let him walk - but I have no issue resigning him if it's reasonable.

yeah it seems like PFF is actually usually pretty good on offensive line (like it's pretty consistent for offensive line that '80s and higher make the pro bowl and then once you start getting 86 to 88 and higher range all pro team)

This year though seems like a very down year for guards. It's not just Martin, the two other guards that are usual all pro team (Wyatt teller and Quenton Nelson) are both ranked low (68 and 70.5) and both of them have way more penalties and sacks allowed than Martin
