so mouthbreather isn't an insult when they are talking bad about dak "haters"? or are they calling us daks?

I think you'd rather be called a hater than Dak. So that's what they are really saying. They are calling you a big, fat, skirt wearing Dak.

Not me, buddy. That's their words. Lol. You and I are homies regardless of our differences on Dak. Even when I insult others, I leave my homie out of it.

Nothing super shocking on there.
I'd think you want to upgrade from Osa and McGovern over the off-season.

Everyone else is a legit starter range for rank.

It goes to tell you the Cowboys are a well coached team. We have good players but to have a 10-3 record, the Cowboys are over achieving. Nobody had the Cowboys making the playoffs this season but the media has forgotten that.
not true but in the ball park.

Dallas over/under on wins was 10.5
They will obviously cover that and go over, possibly by 3.5 games but they were expected to make the playoffs.

They are well-coached and they have played well.
Burt the actual play is probably a little higher than the PFF numbers indicate.
They have the 2nd or 3rd best total score differential in the entire league.
They are not just winning but winning handily.

Not after the Bucs game when Dak went down.

How are we winning with such a trash team? I mean, based on these individual ratings you’d think our o-line was utter garbage but it clearly hasn’t been.

Martin at 17th seems crazy with how dominate our run game has been behind him. And how is Bland 20th when he’s got 3 picks from 4 starts.
Yeah oline looks like the miss. The rest seem close
Lve at 20th best linebacker means he is in the top 30 percent in the league at lb. Many on here would disagree but he has had a very solid season

So PFF rankings we have limited talent so it must be the coach and his staff using smoke and mirrors to get this team to 10-3 thus far.

For some of the positions, may be easier to digest this way
Dak - 18th ranked QB (average, 50 percentile)
Cd Lamb - 9th ranked WR (excellent, top 10 percent)
Tony Pollard. 3rd ranked rb (excellent, top 5 percent)
Zeke - 18th ranked rb (good, top 30 percent)
Dalton Schultz - 22nd TE (above average, top 40 percent)
Biadez - 23rd C (below average, bottom 40 percent)
Zach Martin - 16th G (good, top 25 percent)
McGovern - 65th G (poor, bottom 25 percent)
Steele - 20th T. (PFF does NOT distinguish between R and L tackles) (good, top 25 percent)
Tyler Smith 46th T (below average, bottom 40 percent)
D Bland 20th CB (good, top 25 percent)
Diggs 32nd CB (above average, top 40 percent)
Hooker 19th S (good, top 25 percent)
Kearse 29th S (above average, top 40 percent)
LVE 20th LB (good, top 25 percent)
Osa 50th DT (below average, bottom 40 percent)
Micah - 3rd edge defender (#2 pass rush behind Myles Garret) - excellent, top 5 percent
DlAW - 19th edge defender - good, top 25

I actually looked into how PFF grades are tabulated and there’s a lot of BS involved.

OL play is a perfect example. Graders get the tape and watch a position and mark each play from -2 to +2 in .5 pt increments.. The issue is the person grading has no idea what the player’s individual assignment is. A OT may have a guy beat him inside for a sack which he gets dinged on when that may have been the back’s responsibility.

A QB could get dinged for a bad throw when in reality the WR may have run the wrong route. PFF doesn’t take that into account.

Just midweek debate starter thread. Try to keep it focused on players. I'm not responding to PFF complaints bc I really don''t care what you think of PFF.

Dak - 18th ranked QB
Cd Lamb - 9th ranked WR
Tony Pollard. 3rd ranked rb
Zeke - 18th ranked rb
Dalton Schultz - 22nd TE
Biadez - 23rd C
Zach Martin - 16th G
McGovern - 65th G
Steele - 20th T. (PFF does NOT distinguish between R and L tackles)
Tyler Smith 46th T
D Bland 20th CB
Diggs 32nd CB
Hooker 19th S
Kearse 29th S
LVE 20th LB
Osa 50th DT
Micah - 3rd edge defender (#2 pass rush behind Myles Garret)
DlAW - 19th edge defender
Sam Williams 40th edge defender
Dorance and Gallup?

The most surprising on this list for me is Hooker. Aside from the two turnovers that dropped in his lap against the colts, I felt like he has been far and away the worst performer of the 3 safety combo

Diggs is a surprise, but hey, they're all in the top 65 at their respective positions!

Diggs doesn't usually score this well in their system b/c they don't weight big plays enough. This might be as high as they have ever had him.
