If you pay for the all-22 access it is usually available by noon Eastern time the day after the games. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that if a grade is out before noon Eastern then it was NOT arrived at using the all-22. And I repeat even if I have the all-22 (and I have paid for it in the past) I still don't know anybody's assignment so my assessment of what a player did on a given play is limited to a SWAG at best. I'm not prepared to accept that a bunch of part time keyboard warriors on the internet have any better SWAG than my own. Ironically the reason I stopped paying for the all-22 is that I found myself spending HOURS UPON HOURS going over plays trying to definitively determine what happened with every player on every play..
The notion that someone cranks out grades for all 22 players on some 150 snaps between the two teams in a couple of hours is ridiculous. That's 3300 "man-snaps" to grade. If I take 30 seconds per player that's 99,000 seconds or 1650 minutes to grade a game.. Or ... drum roll please.. 27.5 HOURS!!! Oh wait.. maybe they're faster than that.. Let's say they can grade each player in 10 seconds.. That cuts it down to 9.2 hours per game. Wheeeee doggie.. Okay maybe you assign multiple people to the game. Maybe one guy watches the home team and the other guy watches the road team.. 4.6 hours each.. Divide it up 4 ways.. 2.3 hours each.. 8 ways? 1.25 hours.. each guy watching home team/road team per quarter.. Might be doable.. So 8 guys times 12-14 games.. = 96-112 "evaluators" every Sunday.. Maybe they have a system that has figured out how to grade players in under 10 seconds and share the workload such that they can crank the grades out in a couple of hours .. Wonderful.. but the NFL does not release the all-22 until the next day ( I
will go confirm that again just to be sure) and the grades are typically already out before they do. So color me dubious about their grading.
