BTW, I can almost guarantee you Tony Romo would prefer not going to the Pro Bowl at this point in his career and would likely opt out anyways.

Is the guy really going to take a shot to play in a Pro Bowl game?

Not to say that validates PFF being football stupid on his exclusion.

I agree. If he gets selected, he will not play. However, he does deserve a spot IMO.

I disagree completely with their assessment of Brees. Make Brady the other starter, put Romo as an alternate and kick Brees out altogether.

huh? I said Brees didn't deserve it. What do you disagree with?

I rate Romo 2nd but Brady is fair for sure.

Travis Frederick deserves to go.

I think Frederick has been better than PFF's choice of rookie Linsley (GB)

Having said that, both of those guys are going to be in Pro-Bowl contention for a long long time. They are representing the Big Ten (Frederick - Wisconsin, Linsley - Ohio State) very well.

Quarterback

Starters: Aaron Rodgers (GB) and Drew Brees (NO)

Reserves: Tom Brady (NE), Matt Ryan (ATL), Ben Roethlisberger (PIT) and Andrew Luck (IND)

That is just so wrong. What a load of crap.

If only one person on our line is worthy first-team Pro Bowl consideration, then I don't want to hear the pundits taking credit away from DeMarco Murray and Romo when they come up big down during the playoffs - Yes, I'm going to already assume we'll get in and do well if we get in.

Stafford?? What??

I just threw him in there because the Lions are doing well this year. But I really haven't followed his play nor his stats. So I'm not saying he's performed better than Romo. I really don't know.

...seems about right to me. But once again, they forgot LP.

Romo has good numbers on a bad team, he's left out. Romo has great numbers on a good team, he's left out. I will never pay attention to the Pro Bowl crap again if he's left out again. Beats Seattle in their place. Pounds the Saints. Pounds the Eagles in their place. Second only to Rogers in QB rating. Rediculous

The Pro Bowl is in part a popularity contest. Every year there are guys voted in that probably shouldn't have been and players that get snubbed. It's that way in the Pro Bowl/All Star voting in every sport. I'm not sure which sport is the worst about the selections. Frequently in the NBA and MLB you will see big name players voted in that either were having down years or having only played a handful of games due to injury get voted in.

I'm curious to see how many Cowboys make the All-Pro list. That one seems to be more on point with it's selections.

Tyron Smith has not been ELITE. And I HOPE the coaches make sure they stay on him this offseason to stay motivated. He has a LONG term contract...and I know everyone says he gave us a discount.....but he must realize that the organization needs and expects him to play to his potential yeare end and year out. Don't be shocked when his agent decides that being loccked into a contract that long at "discounted" dollars is not acceptable. But after having very good (not great) years like the one he is having...will make any discussion of re-visiting his contract moot.

He has the curse very few athletes have. And that is....his potential is unlimited...so he will be judged based on his potential...as opposed to being judged based on how he performs compared to his peers.

I refuse to get sucked into the pro-bowl hoopla anymore. Like many things in this modern age, it has survived recent years because of respect built up long ago. These days it's a *******ized, media manipulated process that ends in a pro-bowl game that nobody wants to play in or watch... Booooo!

lol....PFF is complete trash.

No one should ever take what they do seriously. They prove, once again, that they're idiots.
