Josh Allen is a top-five NFL quarterback. Nobody in their right mind would argue that fact. His frame, arm, and athleticism make him a cheat code.

But in a world that hasn’t stopped talking about Prescott’s 15 interceptions, Allen’s league-leading 19 turnovers isn’t talked about nearly as much. Trevor Lawrence, who ranks above Prescott on a few lists out there, lost five more fumbles than any other QB and turned the ball over two more times than Prescott. Joe Burrow quietly had one less turnover than Prescott did.

Same exact thing I've said. Nobody cared when Stafford was leading the league in interceptions. Nobody cares that Josh Allen does it.

Great article. Gotta give credit where its due. Not the same crap over and over again.
They have a point on a few things. Allen did turn it over a lot last year

But they conveniently leave out that Dak missed a whopping 5 games. Of course, if you play 5 more games you might have as many turnovers....but he did this with 5 less games.

They also do the brain-dead football take of mentioning Stafford's picks in 2021 but leaving out his massive TD numbers. 41 TDs and 17 ints (+24) and light years different than, say 23 TDs and 15 ints (+8).....I mean its 3 times better!

I don't think roster issues. Granted, Noah Brown as your #2 is an issue but I don't think its solely roster issues. There are games where this team plays and the defense has their number. It's not just last year its years even under Garrett. Even in Romo's years. Their playbook is outdated and not creative and it's typically good enough to beat the dogs around the league. This team does nothing to help its personnel. Never has.
The team obviously agreed with you as they released Moore into the wild to go get another job immediately.

The offensive stats suggest the offense has been great but it has obviously not been good enough when it mattered most.

I expect the offense to be better but a lot of that can be attributed to personnel.
2nd year Tyler Smith with Steele back and Bradin Cooks at WR should elevate the talent.

Missing 5 games and throwing for 23 TD's is still pretty good. Had he played 5 more games he'd have what? 35-37 Passing TD's? 20-22 interceptions? Not great by any means but a lot closer to 41 and 17 than 23 and 15 is.

I'm just looking forward to the hilarious way Dak and the cowboys are going to end the season. The previous two were just fantastic.

I still believe Dak sliding after running a qb keeper with no timeouts in 2021 is a top 5 all time playoff blunder. Its really hard to find worse plays in critical moments throughout the history of the nfl playoffs. I mean somewhere Neil O'Donnell was watching that and going come on man...

The stupidity and absurdity of that play is the most cowboys thing ever. Just hysterical. I absolutely love watching it.
I guess it depends on how you view that play. To me the game was over. They played so poorly they didn't deserve to win it anyway. It was either throw a low percentage pass for 50 yards or do what they did. And the play they did should've worked if Dak would've made sure the ref centered the football. I found the Zeke at center to be far more tragic and embarrassing.

He's the one guy I find very odd they crown. I know he had a game or two of going toe to toe with Mahomes so maybe that's it? He throws some egregious interceptions.....like in the red zone when they are about to score. He has an arm and can run so I get why he has a good rep but he's done nothing.
Allen has had 1 great post season run that still landed short of glory. Other than that he has been the mirror image of Dak in Josh's BEST seasons and yet everyone rates him top 5 off top.
Even when he made the great run he had been very average and well below Dak in the regular season.

Allen and Herbert are both artificially inflated IMO.
One of the ways I know whether or not to take a QB list seriously is where they rank those 2.

OMG don't get me started on Herbert. He has people thinking the Chargers stink. He has a great receiving duo....very good running back...key pieces on defense....success is subjective but the guy has only made the playoffs once got kicked out by the Jags. I guess that's where I stand on him. I expected to see him do what Trevor Lawrence did and he hasn't. He doesn't make the Chargers better by being on the field. Yet, he has the reputation of Burrow.

Good point.

Still...fwiw... if he played 5 more game at the same rate it would be about 29.9 TDs and 19.5 ints (+10.5)
A 30/20 season is still is a bit rough.

Btw, I AM in the camp that thinks 2022 was an anomaly for Dak

But Daniel Jones? That one I don't get. I'd take Dak at his worst over Daniel Jones at this best.
Really?? Other than Mahomes, I don't know there is an NFL QB who on their worst day is better than another NFL QB on their best. I mean the margin just isn't that large to begin with.

If you say you prefer Dak over Jones when both are playing their best, that's at least a reasonable view point. Worst over best, not so much.

Yeah I inflated the stats because I think typically Dak would've had some big games against some of those teams. I think Bengals were the only team that wasn't a dog in that stretch....well them and the Eagles.

But we'll go with your projections and yeah 30 and 20 is abysmal. No way around it. If he's gonna do that again we might as well start Rush. Rush maybe can't put up the 30 TD's but he can sure as hell throw less than 20 picks.

But I agree. I don't know how good of a season he will have and this new approach to the offense has me nervous but I don't see a scenario where he leads the league in interceptions. It typically doesn't happen in the NFL. Not two years straight anyway.

Haha....said no one.

You've derailed he thread enough is there anything else I can help you with? You interested in getting benched again? IS that what this is about?
As if I care lololol

You care about things like that because playing your character here is important.

If they ban my account forever I wouldn’t care one bit.

What I mean is people are saying Daniel Jones had a good season last year. He got 40 million so I'll assume this is him at his best(I don't think much of him so there's that lol). I believe last season was Dak at his worst. And the Cowboys offense was far more productive than Daniel Jones and yeah I get the limitations at certain skilled positions. Maybe Daniel has a bette year with Lamb. I can't say for sure because typically the less he throws the better.

But if last year was Dak at his worse and Daniel at his best? I'd rather have Dak. I'm limited with Daniel at QB.

You don't care yet you got benched and lied and said "I Benched myself" lol...I guarantee you if they ban you you'd come back with a burner account. You can't stay away. Which is odd because Eagles have a good message board I don't know why you are afraid to go over there. Ask @Aerolithe_Lion about their site.

No, they made quite salient points that annoyed you because you disagree.

1. INTs are only half the TO score with fumbles being very much in play.
2. Stafford leading the league in INTs but winning a title meant no one cared he led the league in INT. It was the very next year and all any attention seeking talking head could bring up after ignoring that mark in 2021.

Dak put up good to great numbers across many metrics including points per game. And he did so with fewer offensive weapons then other people on the list.
Outside Mahomes every QB has holes in his game that can be attacked.
As good as Joey B is, he fumbles wayyyyyy too much. And it costs his team.
Josh is turnover prone for a career, not a season.
Herbert will beat you if a clean throw is there but if not he offers nothing but a punt and they tend to lose a lot.

Cowboys fans have no excuse to be so low info or to constantly bag on their own QB.

This is important to you. I can tell.

Ban me forever.
