PFT: Big talk from Roy Williams as Saints game approaches

The Dallas Cowboys are hoping to reverse their recent December fortunes against the undefeated New Orleans Saints on Saturday. But as tough a challenge as the Saints will be, Dallas wide receiver Roy Williams had plenty to say today about how much he likes the Cowboys' chances.

"If we pack our bags and show up in New Orleans on Saturday night," Williams tells Tim MacMahon of ESPNDallas.com, "we should be victorious."

The Saints are favored by a touchdown, but Williams mocked the idea that the Cowboys can't beat them.

"Might as well crown them, right?" Williams said sarcastically. "They're undefeated. It's December. We don't have a chance."

Williams also said he thinks the Cowboys will play the Saints again in the playoffs, and Saturday's game is just a prelude to that.

"This is a two-round fight, and this is just the first round, in my eyes," Williams said. "I don't know about everybody else, but I think we're going to see this team in the playoffs down the road."

I like the attitude - at least it shows that at least one of our guys is angry and plans to show up and play football Saturday.

Of course the "walk the walk" crew will be out in full force, and if we lose the "they mailed it in crew" will be here as well.

I like the attitude. Hopefully the chip on the shoulder transfers to the rest of the team and the coaching staff.

Usually Crayton does jack to back up his trash talk, so lets see what type of numbers Roy puts up against the Saints.

Regardless of whether the Cowboys lose by 3 or 30, the outcome is the same.

Goodness knows the politically correct route has yet to pay any dividends this December.

I've always been a proponent of players showing some swag. I don't have a problem with him talking noise.

Football is a game of confidence. I'm glad they show it sometime.

Just needs to carry over to the field.

He was good in college but he cant even hold Miles Austins jock now an that aint saying that much.I would love to see him get cut loose after this year and get a real WR.
