PFT: Big talk from Roy Williams as Saints game approaches

Jesus Christ. It's not our players who have mailed it in. To a man, they're positive and sticking together. It's only the fans who've **** themselves and abandoned all hope.

I'm actually encouraged by the number of positive posts and threads I've read overnight...

I still think that the Boys can play a perfect game and beat the Saints, and if they do, I feel confident they can run the board through the end of the season... I'm not predicting that it will happen, but I think it's doable...

The month of December has gotten off to a rough start, with two tough losses to two pretty good teams, but it ain't over yet... and those who care to jump off the bandwagon now will find all the good seats taken if they care to jump back on down the line... :D

This rowboat's gettin' pretty empty.
Let's hope it fills back up miraculously late Sat night. (With people, not more water).

Let the rats leave. When the leak is fixed they'll be back on board.

I for one enjoy the positive attitude.

Your testicles called. They just wanted to say 'hi.'

Not sure what you are trying to say, but typical of your posts and why i put zero stock into them.

Everybody likes confidence, but it depends on who it's coming from. This team is doomed

Why exactly are your testicles talkin' to an Idgit, anyway?? :D

You guys are right. When asked about the Saints game, he should have simply said:

"Are you joking? We don't have a chance. I don't even know why we're going there anyway. Can we please start talking about the game in Washington?"

Just saw a clip of it on ESPN

I started busting up. His delivery and timing is great.

He's a funny dude.

Let's turn that swag into a dub on Saturday night!

I'm shocked, and somewhat appalled at SLATE's comeuppance as a even-headed poster around here...it seems like yesterday SLATE was throwing the entire organization under the bus :laugh2:

...he sounds like an idiot down in New Orleans...Deke and Bobby are eating this guy up on WWL-New Orleans...

...Brad Sham came on and opined about the woeful state of the Cowboys and its fans sense of entitlement, especially after the 2007 season...went on about the not-so-homefield advantage the fans give, especially with 3-D glasses stuck to their face...this whole franchise is a joke right now...give me a break!

...talk, talk, talk...all i ever hear about in Dallas...well talking don't win championships and Dallas is the not-so-inside joke of the NFL right now...i like Roy but he should just shut up...saying that Dallas will meet New Orleans again is absolute lunacy...the Saints have already made the playoffs and won their division...the Cowboys can't claim the same...if this is the type of denial that exists with all the players then NO COACH can save their butts...period!!!!!!!!!

do you have link to a podcast for that? I would like to hear brad talk, he never does stuff here on radio.

Yeah i would much rather he come out and say. " Hell no we are going to get our *** kicked". You don't have a clue.

How bout he say nothing and get it done on the field which he has failed to do thus far this season.

Fletch;3148726 said:
Face it, you hate everything about the Cowboys. Even if we won, you'd hate that too. Take your sorry bum somewhere else. Nothin but a troll.

GO COWBOYS!

I'm glad you can tell me how I feel.

If that logic holds, I can only assume that you're not from Texas...

...they have'nt archived it yet but i'll post it once available...Brad talks for about 15 minutes but he basically says that this December hoodoo will exist until the players themselves decide that it won't...

Oh I know - I'm with you 100%. I was simply playing on those fans, being sarcastic.

I should have added the </sarcasm> HTML tag :D

here is what brees said.

Sounds like Drew Brees is looking to light up the Cowboys defense, read here.

Also, Brees acknowledged, although the coaches might give each game equal value, there's a little juice for the players this week.

"We've looked at this game on the schedule for a long time," he said. "We were hoping we'd be in the position we're in for a long time -- 13-0. And they're fighting for a playoff spot.

Gotcha. I thought it was a good example of subtle defeatism creeping into an otherwise positive post.

Can I tell you how much I love the fact that that simple post was beyond you? And how little it surprises me?

I'd be *shocked*, Everlastingxxx, if you put anything more than zero stock in my opinions. I'm not an idiot, which can't possibly hold any appeal for you.

This is kind of cool. I wonder what's their motivation for not liking the Cowboys. Is it just friendly rivalry for Payton? And the fact that they've taken on a few of our cast-offs?

If you know this, then why attempt to reply to anything i have to say?

Take a long walk off a short pier.

Ironically matt mosely said yesterday that he thinks..wink wink..meaning he talked to them down there.....that they are sick of Dallas and Dallas is overhyped and overrated and they deserve the attention instead of hearing about Dallas.

Which is odd, since no one picked us to do anything but spare everyone to death and ironic that mosely would say this since basically the only thing he actually does correctly at his job is overhype teams. The only reason he does that right is because you cant be wrong overhyping teams....being wrong is the essence of it.

anyway. Romo must be sick of brees. Romo would have played at purdue if not for Brees!!

It would be really great to win saturday. I still am ticked off about that onsides in 06.

Somebody help me here. What, exactly, did Roy say that was so over the top?

If it is a consolation we have 12 different starting players on the team since that 06 game
