I agree with you. But FYI.....you just opened yourself for an onslaught of attacks from the social justice internet warriors with that post.

Or maybe people like me who have worked in mental health for 27 years, or anyone who has lost someone to suicide. Criticizing people who express mental health needs isn’t just ignorant, it’s dangerous. Your mocking people who would speak up and say so doesn’t change a thing.

If you’re struggling with your mental health people, ignore the sarcasm clowns and get help.

Right on cue.

Noone says that mental health isn’t truly an issue with some folks. Of course it is.

But it’s also true that many people will start using it as an excuse (when they don’t really have an issue) because of the culture that we live in where it can NEVER be questioned.

Its not your place to decide whose mental
health issues are “real” or not.

You seem to be insinuating that many people who express mental health needs are faking. That’s harmful. That truth is between the person, their behavioral health providers and their support networks.

In case it hasn't already been discussed, if Knight wants to return to football he will be a Raven. They took on his contract with that waiver claim and he will be on their reserve-did not report list until or unless they release him.

Putting this here in case anybody wonders if he'll return to the Cowboys once he addresses his personal issues.
He can "un-retire" at any time and the Raven must take him or release him.

In a week they'll have signed another player. Then is Knight "un-retires" they have to release a player to add Knight or release Knight.
