I can't believe that people think this is a stupid rule. You guys might as well say that helmets should be illegal. I don't care if it hasn't happened. IT COULD HAPPEN. And that is reason enough for me to be happy with the rule. I guess you guys don't wear your seatbelts because you haven't been in an accident. They should address helmets coming off. But IF THEY DO COME OFF, I would like to know that a player won't get permanent brain trama because they have a rule in place. This isn't a "if you slap a qb on the butt after a play it is called a personal foul" type of rule change. It is a "your helmet came off, we are going to stop the play before a LB launches himself at you head first and cracks your skull" type of rule change. Someone might as well walk up to you and hit you in the head with a hammer. Don't get upset, because hey, apparently only wusses get upset at that.
