Doesn't take a genius to figure it out....two things. His scatter arm which throws buck shots, and he stares down his receiver. Both allow DBs to make plays on the ball. This is his 8th freaking year.....FIX IT......
Prescott already looking for his next victim to throw under the bus.

Who will it be next? Lamb for drops? Tyron? Steele?

Brutal.

Imagine your boss at work telling you that they were going to spend a few weeks painstakingly going over every single error you made in your decision making for that entire year.

Now, it could be readily apparent that some of these mistakes were the result of a fellow associate failing to accomplish a specific task but you get to re-live the decision to assign that task to that particular associate. Aha! Another error in judgement!

The discomfort increases when you realize that it's not only the boss that grills you over every single flaw occurring during that 365 day span. He has a gang of departmental assistants ready to nitpick every possible angle of your flawed reasoning.

I think such an encounter might damage my blood pressure as well as my self confidence. I would also bet that part of their solution to fixing the issue would be a not-so-hidden threat to my job.......like competition from another associate for said job.

All that's needed with Dak is to give him an OL that's strong and steady as can be, turn him loose, and hope for the best . . .
Oh, yeah -- I simply forgot -- somehow manage to make the running attack something reversing back to 2016, or the like . . . :flagwave:

Yep . . . I think you probably have hit, here, on something just as true as true can be!

Putting blame with Dak's and his mates' misgivings appears a lame way to fix things!

His issue is not his arm so much as his lower body. He requires his lower body to put velocity on his throw and so he was doing stuff like dragging his leg causing him to short arm throws. Lots of throws high and behind when he gets hurt.

This notion that he stares down receivers is nonsense. He regularly uses his helmet framing to steer safeties. He has repeatedly demonstrated the ability to go through reads and extend plays.

Now the allowing DBs to make plays on the ball thing is new. I look at it as throwing into coverage but it is essentially the same concept. That cropped up this year and was not something he had an issue in the past.

I have listened to Dak talk about angles and leverage when asked about his record breaking pick streak. I don't know what his keys are but I bet they have to do with considerations of the two things Dak was talking about.

At the same time you have MM talking about simplifying reads and the offense.

But this notion that Dak has always thrown into coverage is nonsense.

The biggest issue Dak has had is he’s not seeing the field real well. Obviously, some of his INT’s had to do with his receivers not making the catch and pressure.

All we had to do is run the ball, not turn it over and continue to play good defense.
The problem was we couldn’t run the ball and when you can’t your QB has to make plays. Zeke averaged only 2.6 per carry and Pollard averaged only 3.7 per carry against San Francisco. They were determined not to let us run the ball, it was like running into a brick wall. The game got put on Dak and he didn’t perform. Playoff games usually come down to your QB.

MM: Okay, Dak, let’s dissect these last 27 interceptions…What happened ?
Dak: Well, all the other teams know that on first down we never pass and just run in to the middle of the line for 2 yards…
MM: And ?
Dak: They also know that on 2nd and 3rd down we run the same passing plays we’ve run for the last 30 years…
MM: And ?
Dak: So I threw it to the DB because he was the only one open.

You don't have to force your QB to make plays when a.) You have a lead and b.) Your defense is playing well/dominating. Bill Parcells wins that game and Big Mike would have to if he didn't have to let Kellen be the man. You can blame it on Dak but he's running the plays that are called. Did he have bad game? Yes , even more reason for KM to reign it in. He couldn't/wouldnt do it and was fired for it.

San Francisco’s defense forced our QB to make plays. We couldn’t run the ball and had to make plays in the passing game. You’re not going to win in the playoffs playing Bill Parcells 80s style 3 yards and a cloud of dust football. Our defense played well enough to win the game, but we only scored 12 points because Dak was struggling. The play that really broke the game open was Kittle’s juggling catch. Purdy was more efficient than Dak. You can’t reign your QB in, in the playoffs. They have to step up and make plays when needed. KC doesn’t win the Super Bowl if Mahomes isn’t making plays in the second half. In the playoffs and Super Bowl it pretty much comes down to how your QB plays.

What play was that???

He's not going to respond to that. Alot of those football IQ challenged lil guys love making **** up then run, ducking and hiding when you ask for proof/real facts. I'm not saying he's one of them, but I doubt if he shows you proof of something that most likely didn't happen.
