Aren't they going to have to make room cap wise to sign Foles if they do?

I mean, it fits. There's no better option for him and we have a need. You have to have someone on the roster behind Romo with actual NFL experience. Plus he's got to think he's got a good chance to start with Romo's age and health.

I understand the need for Foles, but what if Dak really has something? Usually lightning would have to strike the same place twice for Dak to ever be noticed under this situation if we bring in Foles who I believe we all know is not a guy that could take us to the big game, not a #1 long term in case Romo goes down.

Dak needs to learn for a couple years. The reps in practice of a #2 would certainly help him but putting him out in a real game would be idiotic.

Behind our OL, it's not like Dak won't get some protection to make his reads. If Romo goes down for some time, season's over. If Dak is next man up or Foles. Won't matter..

If Dak has something then Foles won't stop him in any way.
No way I am on board with the idea of not signing a guy who has played and show something in this league for fear of being a Dak progress stopper.

Things change, but I don't carry a pocket ready Jerry Jones sucks for all change. Injury happens in all camps, no matter where it does, every injury requires roster change.

I think that an agenda of insult to Jerry with each and every change...is a cop out.

If the FO was planning on going with Moore anyway as backup, why now shift that philosophy and go with an experienced back up? Just go with what you got, maybe one of the young uns will surprise.

Right now it takes him an eternity to make his reads. He's nowhere near being ready. If he has a chance you don't screw that up by putting him out there as a rookie.

Would love to know what disqualified him last week......"we know him"......lol

In my opinion, the same thing that "disqualified" Dwight Freeney from helping this anemic pass rush. The same thing that "disqualified" Brian Waters when he was released in Kansas City and wanted to come here.

Stupidity. From a group that would rather be "comfortable" than creative. A group who likes players that somebody "knows" over players who are actually good at their jobs.
