I like Foles a lot more then many. IMO, it might not be a bad move for Foles to sign a one year deal with an Option year. He's going to get paid regardless but he will likely not go to a team with as good of an Offense as Dallas will have and with the health situation for Tony, it's a pretty good bet that he will get starts. He may actually get several if Tony is on the shelf for any length of time. If he plays well, he could find himself in a really strong position to become the next starter in Dallas, long term. JMO

Smart thinking......LA already paid him for this year so money isn't the big issue

With Rapoport reporting that there is mutual interest between us and Foles, I think its going to happen regardless.

I do like the move, and we really don't have a choice at this point cause our youngsters aren't ready.

If Foles is indeed interested, pull the trigger.....quickly.

My statement is accurate, in the current time FA environment, the options are limited. At this point, if a team has a legitimate backup currently on their roster, they'll not be cutting him.

i am saying we *can* wait - but i'm fine w/foles and think he's as good as anyone we can get anytime soon. i do believe some will be cut in the coming weeks, but i can't argue getting someone *like* foles here is a good thing.

but just getting anyone? don't see the sense in that.

True, but if Moore wasn't already a Dallas Cowboy and you checked his stats he would garner a similar reaction.

Yeah that was my pet cat. I doubt he will last long on the time now if Dak or Showers take the next step. Well it was nice while it lasted.

Well yeah I would rather have Dak than just anyone we can plug into the spot. I wouldn't be surprised if Jerry doesn't go full court press on Foles though.

Mobility doesn't matter much if you're throwing interceptions and missing receivers. My only point was that we won just one game without Romo, so it wouldn't have mattered if those QBs were worse than what we had.
