By that definition, then John Fox developed Peyton Manning and Barry Switzer developed Aikman. Yeh, sure they did.
You are really good at stretching words here. John Fox did not "develop" Manning, but Manning did continue his development under Fox. Same for Aikman/Switzer.
It's a really simple concept. Nobody ever gets to the point where they know it all, then just coast the rest of their career. Well I guess, except you, who obviously already knows it all. But for us "non-experts", we continue our professional development until the day we hang 'em up. I spent 35 years in my chosen profession, and I was still learning new ideas, and refining the skills I already had, right up until the day I handed in my keys.
Yet you seem to think that an NFL QB gets to a point where they know it all, and their brain no longer has the capacity to learn anything.
