Be a little fair, nobody expected the Cowboys to even consider drafting another slot player. Now it is exciting to expect a radical change in our offensive scheme that likely will not occur.

Like the two TE thing.

I just don't see this significant role unless it comes at the expense of Beasley.

I hope he is great and I hope the coaches use him the right way to help the team
For that to happen we need a star Pass Rusher. Had we of had one, Rodgers wouldn't have had all that time when he dropped that last bomb to put the nail in our coffin loss in playoff yet once again. This teams problems isn't on Offense, but rather Defense.

The significant role will come in the return game. No more bease fair catches and loosey lucky returns. Anything else he provides is gravy

They're talking about a significant role on offense.

And I wouldn't say anything other than special teams is "gravy" for a 4th round pick.

I'm dubious of how much he can provide in the punt return department. Unless he's Ty Hill he'll return it less than twice a game and get about 10 yards per pop if that, maybe get 1 TD a year. I guess if he looks good the punter may be more likely to shank kicks. The kicking game seems to cut down risks on returns more in today's game. It could just be a misperception on my part.
