Stanback still runs a 4.58

Rue.

I think Stanback was timed by the same guy who ran the shot clock in the Magic-Pistons game tonight.

Still, this is a fantastically dumb idea.

Eh. Jerruh wants some cash-money.

I'm for that.

I certainly am not going to start "teh rue."

But I will start ruing when Stanback fails to get separation on CBs not named Anthony Henry next year.

troof.

Now this was a painful thread to read. I know a few of you guys were talking with tounge planted firmly in cheek.

But the rest of you guys..........OMG what a bunch of *****cats.

A little extra coverage from HBO is not going to turn Romo into Carter or Ware into Ekuban.

We are the best team in football. This is our year. I want extra coverage, I want as much of this year documented as possible.

Hard Knocks didnt help or hurt the 2002 Cowboys, it wont effect the 2008 Cowboys.

What Hard Knocks will do is piss off all the Cowboy haters, and thats a good thing.

every team that was featured on hard knocks sucked that year. Look at the chiefs this year. I think we are still the best team in the NFC but I don't like this one bit. I will of course watch because I watch and listen to everything about the cowboys

The 2002 Cowboys sucked before Hard Knocks. The Chiefs were an avg team the year before the show. The show had nothing to do with their season last year. The had no QB, a hold out at RB and overall just a crappy team. The Ravens were SB champions that cut their starting QB and if I remember right had quite a few injuries that year. I can give anyone the Ravens but the Chiefs and Cowboys were gonna suck not matter if they did the show or not.

Screw it. I can't wait to watch. I can't imagine this having a single negative impact on a Week 14 game. If so, we didn't deserve to win anyway.

+1. Took the words right outta my mouth.

im sad about training camp I live 15 minutes from the alamo dome I had a great time last summer was there for the opening night ceremony which was outstanding free concert by los lonely boys, and this year I was planning on taking a lot of video and pictures for you guys, now because of the stupid city and its plans i will miss out on training camp booo

HBO here I come. At least for the month of July. The Cowboys shouldn't be adversely affected by this. If they're not used to the media following them like vultures by now, they never will be.

This is so dumb... Why would we add distractions like that?

I agree it is not the best thing to do. Anyone who has been to Cowboys camps knows there is a ton of media there throughout camp to begin with why add HBO with inside access. Thus far this has not been the most mentally tough team to begin with last thing they need is more distractions.

When will this start? At the start of camp?what date?

What a circus this camp will be, and Jerry is the enthusiastic ringmaster.

So many story lines, and some might even be football related.

HBO picked the right team.

Distractions?! Give me a break, this team will always have distractions. A few more interviews here and there and some more cameras around training camp is like peeing in the ocean.

The only downside is me having to fork over the $ to HBO.

Yep... It just stinks. This is one of the very, very rare times I miss Parcells.

Fans get mad at players all the time for making innocuous comments on radio shows... I can only imagine all the threads the storylines on this show will spawn.

Yuck.

Well, can't say I'm surprised. Over the past year, I have seen a great many decisions come full circle. Not a good thing IMO but that's what happens when Jerry is running the show. I'd like to think that this is a positive thing but I don't see how. Just more distraction. I really don't care how good you are, it's just a fact of life that as little distractions as possible is better, when chasing the over all goal.

This is really disappoint to me as well. I'm sure that this is just another one of those deals where Jerry is trying to drum up as much attention as is possible to support the Cowboys and there eventual 09 Stadium opening but honestly, win a championship or even a playoff game and that will do more for you then Hard Knocks ever would IMO.
