PFT: Georgia coaches did not have nice things to say about Carter

Carter's a boom bust kind of guy. He can be very good, but will he mature? The fact that he didn't take his pro-day seriously raises some flags to me. It was essentially a gamble by Philly for essentially a high, 'free' pick, since they still had their original 1st rounder.

I don't blame Philly for taking him and if he was there at 26, we'd likely have grabbed him due to potential... but those red flags are there. I'm getting away from drafting 'problem players'. We saw it with Bossman Phat. The talent is there, but the off the field stuff can keep them off the field to the point where they never really develop into who they should be.

Didn't follow him, but it sure makes sense why he dropped. Guys like this seldom change.

People can change no doubt…. He strikes me as a guy that’s gonna light he world on fire for a year or two and then fizzle when he gets paid.

Rumor is he is on the lazy side. Talented but lazy. If true it's not gonna work in NFL. You have to be hungry and love the game
It showed against Ohio state. Was out of shape for that game.

I saw a lot of comparisons to Quinnen Williams, but I just don’t see it.

But I think he’ll probably be pretty decent in the NFL.

I was listening to his coach talk about him on draft day.

I was hoping he would slide. Words like generational talent is not good when you have to face this guy twice a year

He is a huge talent with high potential but an idiot of a mindset.
